Someone has sent me a door handle for repair and I can't think for the life of me who it is. Don't know your forum name but your name on the parcel is L Ward. I have a clutch taken off my breaker that is nearly new, it's got between 1.7 and 1.8mm remaining down to the rivet. It's an LUK clutch and as far as I know is supplied by VAG, I bought one from VAG last year and it was LUK. I'd like £70 collected please from M1 J25 Notts/Derby area. I can post but it won't be cheap as it's fairly heavy. Thanks. Dave

Just checked with my vernier caliper, there is between 1.7 and 1.8mm available down to the rivet so I'd say it's pretty new, will post in the for sale section.

I've taken what appears to be a little used clutch off my breaker, can anyone tell me the starting thickness of the clutch plate and what is considered the minimum? Cheers Dave

Apart from it not working at all, when you pull the handle it will operate the internal mechanism later, so instead of the handle moving say 5mm before you feel resistance, it maybe be 10mm or more if that makes sense. Basically the striker is partly broken and is bending/stretching. Only a matter of time before it breaks.

Except this one is fully Stainless, the standard Magnex has a piece made from Mild steel.

All parts came off a 94VR and are powdercoatd in a semi-gloss finish. Gear shift weight on top of the gearbox - £15 posted Tank strap bracket, just needs a little touch up where it was hung - SOLD Front cross member complete with mountings, rubbers and engine mount cover - SOLD Front radiator support, it has some rust pitting but otherwise in good shape - SOLD Rear bumper iron, it has some rust pitting but otherwise in good shape - £20 collected I've attached photos showing the parts just after blasting to give an idea of condition. Collection is from M1 J25 area Notts/Derbys. Thanks Dave
