  1. Dropped the price from 550 plus postage to 520 all in guys. Hope this helps someone to go for it. Cracking deal at that.
  2. Cheers Boss. Have them on ebay for 280 plus postage. Would do 300 all in for the forum. If you add the machining costs and having them refurbished you would have a very rare set of wheels for 5-550 quid. Personally I would buy hub centric spacers and have them machined so that they sit perfectly within the arches to your liking. Would also be cheaper at the machine shop and of course available to sell on to both Subaru and VW enthusiasts.
  3. Will keep it in mind buddy. Really looking for close to the asking price to be honest.

  4. Well bearing movement is all part of the whole hub. But wheels flex, calipers and wheels grow due to thermal. But yes, 1.5mm should clear any situation. The more room however the less heat gets held in the brakes. Wheels can get hot and radiate heat back as well. One of the main reasons of cooling ducts on fast cars is not only to chill the brakes down but also to create an insulation barrier between wheels and brake assembly. Lighter alloys dissipate heat better. Not that most of us will ever notice though.
  5. Used proxs myself for years. Once I used r002 bridgestones it completely transformed the feel of the car and the grip. Lasted longer too. Best tyres for the dry I have ever used though we're p zero,s. Scary in the wet but find plenty of grip that you never knew you'd had in the dry. Wear fast though.
  6. It's not just that, I used a dial indicator to measure the flex from float in the wheel bearing etc and that alone took up .2mm. That was just with hand pressure and wheel off the ground. Imagine corner forces added in with the thermal growth.
  7. http://www.oponeo.co.uk/tyre-finder/s=1/summer/t=1/car/p=2/uniroyal,bridgestone/r=1/205-50-r15 Those two are great. Used rain sports and bridgestones for years. Predictable in all weathers and wear well. Good economy and not a lot of road noise.
  8. Get a set of feeler gauges out. If it has .75mm/0.030" or less clearance then you may possibly have issues and if you generate a lot of heat in the brakes. The calipers and wheels will thermally grow. Years ago I did have some fouling with .5mm/0.020" clearance and that was measured with an ambient of around 14-16c. Made some shim pack, spaced it to .8mm and it worked. Ambient was warmer at around 19. If you have hub centric spacers with 10mm or more hub boss protruding you could use a thin 3mm spacer that is not hub centric to give you the extra clearance you need and still locate the wheels properly. http://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-accessories/wheel-trims-alloys/ripspeed-spacer-kit-3mm-4-or-5-stud?cm_mmc=Google+PLA-_-Car+Accessories-_-Wheel+Trims+&+Alloys-_-293279&_$ja=tsid:60494%7Ccgn:GoogleShopping%7Ckw:293279&istCompanyId=b8708c57-7a02-4cf6-b2c0-dc36b54a327e&istItemId=awrxitll&istBid=tzar&_$ja=tsid:35522%7Ccid:344535124%7Cagid:24345234124%7Ctid:pla-230445360004%7Ccrid:97647066964%7Cnw:g%7Crnd:4544625882134449067%7Cdvc:t%7Cadp:1o4&gclid=COOalvzl-ssCFRBmGwod1t4MLg
  9. i will keep this in mind buddy. If the kit doesn't sell by the end of the month I would take less than I have invested but as it stands I am looking to get as much a return as I can on my cars as I am having to sell everything up. 5 cars, 5 bikes, 3 trailers, loads of bits and a half dozen set of wheels plus a ton of in car stereo equipment that I can't justify keeping. Just can't store them for 2-3 years. Been a 20 year collection as well so a bit gutted.
  10. Unfortunately not mate. I think they would looks spot on :)
  11. Its a real shame I won't get to enjoy it on the car. Was always looking forward to having more feel in the car without going too low and ruining it.
  12. BTTT Again open to offers guys.
  13. BTTT Open to offers guys. Need to get these gone.

  15. Hi guys, Giving up on the Corrado due to work commitments taking me out of the country for the next 2 years and decided to start selling off the collection of parts I had planned to put on this year. Here we have a B12 Kit still in the boxes never used, bought from a Forum member. The spring box base is a bit damage due to my leaving it in storage and the roof leaked. But no effect to the springs. Looking for money back only. NEW PRICE 490 including postage which will cost me around 40 quid. Cheers Guys.
  16. Hi guys, Giving up on the Corrado due to work commitments taking me out of the country for the next 2 years and decided to start selling off the collection of parts I had planned to put on this year. Again bought this from a Forum member in used condition. Not 100% sure which mount it is but we both believed it was the competition one. Looking for 55 posted. Cheers guys.
  17. Hi guys, Giving up on the Corrado due to work commitments taking me out of the country for the next 2 years and decided to start selling off the collection of parts I had planned to put on this year. Bought this from a Forum member. Never fitted to my car. It is all there and ready to go. It has been used in the past but by no means work out or anything like that. 75 pounds posted. Thanks guys.
  18. Hi guys, Giving up on the Corrado due to work commitments taking me out of the country for the next 2 years and decided to start selling off the collection of parts I had planned to put on this year. PRICE 300 Delivered To start. A set of BBS RG362 Forged 16" x 6.5" Wheels in 5 x 100mm PCD, ET 48 and a centre bore of 56.1mm. WEIGHT 6 KG's. These are pretty rare and require minimal work to get to fit to a 5 stud Corrado. They will need machined at approximately 10-20 pounds per wheel to the correct centre bore or it is also possible to fit a set of adapters that are 5 x 100mm with the outer boss being machined on the spacer instead as they will require spacing to get them sitting nicely. On top of that they will require a refurb but to me they look straight and true with only some kerbing marks on the outer rim and spoke faces. These cost me a pretty penny to purchase and ship as they don't come up to often and the only new version is the BBS RGF's at an eye watering 1300 a set. I know it may sound a lot but I am looking for 300 delivered forum price Pictures
  19. you can buy cheap spacers such as these http://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-accessories/wheel-trims-alloys?type=Spacer+Rings and work it properly for about 15-20 quid.

    Barn find VR6

Mine is tidier and lower mileage. Didn't think it be worth anywhere near that. Might be time to sell it up soon then.
  21. Sunroof and electric windows (intermittent fault.
  22. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Clutch-Master-Cylinder-VW-CORRADO-53I-2-9-VR6-Coupe-190-BHP-Top-German-Quality-/400777974942?hash=item5d503a949e:g:cFAAAOSwQItUIal3 I bought one like this. Same pipe layout and connection to the pedal etc. Just have to remove the 8mm studs on the corrado (10 min job) that holds your original on and use 6mm bolts with locking nuts. Changed the slave at the same time. Now a perfect feeling clutch with a bite point a lot higher than the old tired set up gave me.
  23. Me either, spent some time last night trying to find them with no luck. A direct link would be much appreciated.
