before you change the head gasket checl the oil cooler and expantion bottle cap,is there any mayo under the oil cap and/or any signs of oil in the water?

thats a raid hi tech steering wheel,purchased off brokescourt of the forum for £80 i think,spoted one in demon tweeks the other day selling for £150

had mine 1.5 years :D

they are just stuck on,make sure you heat them up with a hot air gun or hair dryer to soften the glue

you could remove the bump srips all together

done away with my home made white paper dials and got myself some.. nice aluminium premier dials off ebay :D

you cant chip a 1.8 16v,all you can do is fit a v-sam of k star,and they cost £400-£500

the traction control is connected to the abs system,i should of said felt it through the pedals :D -
scrap yard would be your best bet

my 93 vr6 has got traction control,only time i felt it working was in the snow,you can feel it working through the brake pedal -
talk to aposegil hes got a wicked race spec 16v..and he may be selling it

my vr6 started missing today,took the plugs out one by one cleaned them but when i got to the dreadedno6 it was oiled up pretty bad,gave it a quick clean and it was ok,so now im looking at bottom end rebuild,anyone know how much i would be looking at or would i be better off buying a 2.8 bored out to 2.9 from tsr?thing is it doesnt smoke on cold start up but if im coasting down a hill in 5th say then put my foot down then i would get a puff of smoke

mk2/3/and 4 fit,with the mk4 being alloy as well

just got back from demon tweeks,and was told that avo,koni etc..use the same springs etc..for the whole mk3/corrado range be it gti or vr6 and that spax are one of the only ones that use different springs for the vr6

most people tend to go for either miltek or magnex,you would be better off going for a full stainless system,dont think yours has got a cat has it?but for a full system be looking at paying over £300

i just cant be bothred to wait 3 weeks,and the spax are only 50 quid dearer

update:-just had demon tweeks on the phone saying the avo coilovers will take 3 weeks to be delivered,so im now going for the spax which will take 7 days,i know people say the spax are a hard ride(oer)but i had some on my old golf and found them to be :D ok
