ive done about 150 and wasnt on the limiter, was racing a scooby at the time, and as kev says the vr6 gearbox can handle quite a bit more, again verified by 2 gps devices, and my speedo is pretty accurate, its only reads about 4mph under
-
for some reason im thinking it could come from the alternator
-
dont know about corrados but the rpm usually comes from the coil, and everything is electrical apart from some early corrados which had a mechanical speedo
-
not to difficult with a ramp, but if the rack need replacing then it will be expensive, not sure if the do repair kits for them
-
sorry to take it slightly off topic..so what your saying is if you bolt on a supercharger to a vr6 which has a book speed off 146mph your only gaining 4 mph??dont think so mate!!ive had 140+ out of my vr6 which is standardish which is verified by my sat nav

the wheel bearing itself probably needs tightening up a little or replacing, nothing to do with the passive rear steer

Where can i find In-Gear acceleration times???

all the safety groups are voicing there disgusts..but it proves that this countries maximum speed limits are out of date and seriously need updating, hes proved it safe to go faster at certain times of the day,but im not saying we should do the same speed, just an extra 50mph will be ok
-

im sure theres some one on here running a 1.8t with a lot more bhp running through the front wheels,so you should be ok
-
its not worth that much really, after all its only a 4x4 r32 corrado  ...in other words dont sell it,what you have done is simply awesome

me and a mate went to change a steering rack on a mk1 fiesta,my mate managed to get a brand new sttering rack for £10 but it was off a mk2 fiesta,it was just a bit longer but we managed to get it to fit, untill we went to drive it,as you probably guessed the wheels were pointing a bit out of line so they wanted to both go in different directions, was pretty funny to watch, and the screetching it made brought all the neighbours out...made quite a few cock ups on escorts mainly forgetting to put the thrust bearing back in after fitting gearboxes :)

i was doing around 4k in my vr6,will be doing a lot less this year seeing as ive taken it off the road,my pug 405 diesel has got 246k on the clock and runs perfect
