    Porsche Cup Wheels

Thanks Brian I've already priced the Millie Mag... ones from Tony. Still undecided though, wheels are all important and a pricey mistake if wrong...

  4. Im tryin to do it on the sly but it's not working. Cant get my ethernet adapter to work on my laptop either. If i could then I could have my Laptop conected to the ships network all the time. Im tryin to find drivers for it just now too. So I think the guys do think im a computer geek, but im not the only one here...

    Porsche Cup Wheels

Thanks guys for your time. The ones that are on the 944 are the ones i'm on about. I don't really like the 993 Turbo style ones as Campaign is right they do look like they're on backwards. Just the one side mind you.
  6. Hi Nigel, thats the Porsche wheels I'm after!!! They are Porsche Cup 1's... Do you know how wide they are?

    Porsche Cup Wheels

Thanks Valver, tried them already, no luck. The problem with the real Porsche wheels is that they're usually 8" wide and I only want 7 1/2", and the adapters are £180 too. Does anybody know the exact name for the Borbet wheel and the Lenso version. The DSP MK1 Golf VR6 Speedster has the borbet ones.
  8. I'm after a set of Porsche Cup Look wheels for my VR6. I know Millie Migillia do them but I think Lenso do a set and Borbet also. Can anybody point me in the right dirrection for a set of these. Im not after the Turbo ones just the normal Cup ones. TIA Pau1
  9. C6 SVR has one, and he's on this Forum.
  10. Hi Ross, Nice to see you've bought yourself a Corrado. I've sold my G60 now, boo hoo, H16VPA. I still have some trim bits of the G60 i broke up so if you need anything let me know. I don't have any tune up bits for your car though, as I think you asked that on aberdeenbeach.... didn't you?
  11. Joe M the buzzing sound usually comes from your fuel "lift" pump. It's a seperate smaller pump if i can remember. Are you coming up to Aberdeen tommorow then? Might meet up with you and Paul in my new VR too.

    16v to VR6

The new owner took delivery of my G60 last night. And I followed him up the road in my new VR6. That was the first time I'd ever really seen my G60 driving on the road, it sounded ace! And it was good to hear the new owners coments after his first real burn. I'm going to miss the G60 but the VR6 is more of a luxury cruiser. If you go for the G60 into 16v swap i'm sure you wont be disapointed.

    16v to VR6

Yeah thats definetly the way to go, drop a G60 straight in. It only took my brother and I 2 days to get the 16v out and the G60 in and spinning away. And you could strip the G60 down first and replace all the consumables first too. It will be cheaper to do that in the long run.
  14. Thanks Dan I was just wanting a polished one too. What did you use to polish your one with, looks so much better.
  15. Right, I've now got to start thinking what I can do to my new VR6. Can someone tell me if the 2.8 and 2.9 inlet manifolds are the same? And how long would it take to polish them up? I don't pick up my VR6 till the new owner of my G60 hands over the cash. And already i've got a list of mods... Roddy got his shot of driving my G60 last night too, it's funny how everyone who drives it starts to laugh at the noise of the charger/dump valve. Im sorry to see it go but I think Struan, the new owner, is going to love it.
  16. Message to Twockers!!! No no, ignore what Roddy said, nothing to see here... Nothing but tractors up here!
  17. The spoiler doesn't really produce downforce. It's there to spoil the lift effect at high speeds. So it only reduces lift, not create downforce. It's a common myth... Pau1
  18. Your car looks lovellllllyyyy... Works well in black. 8)
  19. Here are some piccies of Roddys new refurbished interior... :thumb right: Looks dam good in the flesh... Nice one Roddy...
  20. You'll have to order one mail order. And it would only cost you £30 to fit it. Should only take an hour for any garage to do it.
  21. I still think you should go for a Milltek or something similar. You could easily get one fitted even to the decat which you've got already. And it would be quieter. Just a thought anyway...
  22. Give me a shout if you need a camera Roddy... My mate Scott had this done last year and it looked really good.
  23. I'm an offshore engineer, mainly doing underwater pipeline and structure surveys with ROV's (Remotely Operated Veichles, unmanned Submarines). Get to travel the world but i'm normally away for quite a while. Hard to plan things etc... I've been doing it for 6 years now. When I'm at home I've got to go into the office to do reports and stuff but always just surf the web... he he...
  24. I'm 25 now, I've had my C for over 3 years. Before that I had a Nova GTE which had a series of engines in it. Finishing up with a 2 ltr 16v. No Nova jokes now! Before that I had a Pugit 205 XS which looked like a 1.9 GTI and before that a 205 GR 1.4... My Corrado was a 16v when I bought it but i bought a written off G60 and did the swap myself with the help of my brother, as we did with the Nova.
