You'll definetly need it remaped to work properly. Have you lowered the compersion on your block or have you just bolted on the G60 etc.... ??? Good effort tho. Hope to see pictures when its finished. Are you using the Haldex diff too ?

The Porsche wheels have different Offsets. IE ET52 , ET 47 or whatever. If i run a 20mm and a 25mm hub adapter with those; It will bring the Offset down to ET 27. Do you know what offset your Cup's are ? They should tell you on the inside.

Dirtysouth, Welcome to THE Corrado Forum. As James has said, you should be able to drop it quite alot -60mm +. And removing the inner wheel arch is a good idea. ( Rubs on full lock, possible MOT issue ) Good Luck !

Rory, Most, if not all, Porsche rims have a fittment of 5 x 130 PCD. That is basicaly 5 stud 130mm apart or 65mm from the center. I've never seen anything like your wheels b4, as in, having them redrilled. Maybe a little dodgey if you ask me. But it all depends on how it was done and by who. Your wheels are Cup 2's by the way. The most common way of geting a set of Porsche wheels on a VW are to buy an adapter. These cost between £120-£220 a set. The stud pattern doesn't mean tho that the car originaly had big brakes. Tho, since it's a Porsche it probably did have. The VW's have a PCD of either 4 x 100, 4 stud , or 5 x 100, 5 stud. Hope this clears things up.

LMAO ! This thread is just getting silly now guys....... an MR2 isnt really a match for a Corrado be it a G60 or a VR6. The Corrado is one of THE best handling FWD cars EVER. And thats a fact. The MR2 is a little too tiwtchy near the limit and I personaly have never come across a fast 2lr 16v MR2 ..... In fact i used to be neck and neck back in the day i had my 1.8 16v engine in !.......... There are plenty of G60 v VR6 threads to use guys so lets stay on topic.

Just thinking that ! The two cars are completly different IMHO.... And Brian "your" G60 isnt faster than a VR so there ! :lol:

Sounds like a bad earth problem. Tho, my horn was tempremental on my G60 too. Seemed to be after it had been raining. I just used to hold it on for ages till it eventually made a noise. :?

Yeah you can have a push button on the Gearknob. But you should run an 2nd Arm button on the right hand side of your dash too. Get on of those fancy Helicopter missile arming switches. Running both will stop your drunk mates or crazy girlfirend sending you flying past the coppers.... :lol:

I had this once and it was the metal Air Catching Plate thingy that sits behind your brake disks. Just bend them away aliitle bit more from your discs. Failing that tho, it'll be your brake pads gone or a wheel bearing.
