Hopefully another one here next year, i've got a complete Bora 4mo to use plus a brand new Rallye boot floor and Rally rear axle set up. Just need to figure out what propshaft i can use aswell as rear drive shafts. Wanting to run the 02M and haldex rear diff with complete Bora wiring.

Based in town. Also got some brand new, well never been used, lowering springs of you still need them for your G60.
-
Yeah go for 205 40 17's g164rge. I've run 8x17's on my Corrado for years with no problems. My rears are now 8.5's with 205 tyres and still no rubage. Hello from Aberdeen too by the way.
-
Coullstar as you already know. Corrado's look 1000 times better that a MK4 Golf on the road... Done... 8)
-
Do it ! You can always get another one. If you've not got one before August I'll give you a shot of mine when im home. I'd quite like a shot of your Golf too. I cold always sell you the Bora 4mo and Rallye floor ive got so you can have the best of both worlds.

Cheers Mike, I am indeed a lucky barsteward for finding them on Sunday night. Its the only set i have too. My original bumper is getting its number plate recess filled and then i'll stick it back on. I actually cracked my RS bumper again on the grass at inters.

Some Inters Pics to keep this thread alive... Car didn't make it there on Sunday cause i lost my keys on Saturday night and woke up in some birds house in Lutterworth... :drinking: Got them back Sunday night luckily... Some nice soul handed them in at the pub and didn't help themselves to the car!

Biggerbigben - Golf sold.. another new project!

Yes I'm using the rallye fuel tank - fits fine. The front bracket came ready made and the rear I welded myself. Made that front engine mount myself. I moved the engine forward by 10mm also as the rear engine CV hits the vibratechnic mount. It was a shell last saturday, it'll be at Stonor if it kills me this Sunday! Ben Will you be at Inters this year? Its the only show that i can make this year with my time off work. -

Keep up the good work Ben. I was going to ask you... Can you not use the Rallye fuel tank with the Haldex diff? Also did you fit Marcels brackets yourself or did you send your axle away? TIA 8) -
CaiosG60 PWR TVR Cerbera - New SS Exhaust P5
Pau1 replied to CaiosG60 PWR's topic in Members Gallery
haha, yeah, they've no style... How many PH TVR Chimaera owners does it take to change a light bulb? Oh no, we don't like change... I bought the clear indicators from Ebay, theres some on there just now. Another sore point on PH. But no car should have any orange on it nowadays IMHO. I've not had a chance to fit mine yet but i do believe they're bonded in pretty well. -
Not too sure Andy, i'd say they'd be worth £4-500 atleast. Are they yours or are you wanting to buy them?
-
Yeah, i read on the yahoo groups about Noel closing up and moving on to bigger better things. Might have to check out Dreadnought now though. Can't wait to get home in a couple of weeks and drive the TVR again.

Where do you use for your TVR service Reekie? Not many places up here that specialises.

CaiosG60 PWR TVR Cerbera - New SS Exhaust P5

Aye looks good matey. Where those the one that were on Ebay this week that finished early. I've got a set of those clear indicators but not fitted them yet. Didnt realise they are bonded in. Doh! I've ordered a set of RH ZW1's for the Chimaera now. Hopefully that'll annoy the PH's a bit less than the Keskins idea. -
Aye, just leave them for me then. Actually the RS bumper hits the deck less than the standard 90mm plastic spoiler. Why not wind your coilies up a bit.
-
They will be tight and you'll have to wind your coilies up a bit. It all depends on what width adapters your going to use on the back.
-
NO they wont fit... LOL Im watching them on ebay too. Yes they will fit but you'll need to stretch on the rear tyres to clear the arches.
-
I'd recommend H and R ones personally.
-
Heres my RH ZW1's, originaly bought from Gareth OSV rebuilt with new dishes. 8s in the front and 8.5s on the back. Oh and a set of BBS LM's which might be for sale but i'd really like a set of RS301's... Hint hint...
-
Haha, Hi Work-Shy-Wanabe. Im going to fit the Keskins now just to annoy the old boys on PH.
-
Cheers Tom. Are you going to Inters next month? My Rado will finally make an appearance in Englandshire. Was playing about on photoshop and fancied some 17 inch Keskins on the TVR, the guys on Pistonheads hate it. lol
-
Thanks Tom. Read through most of that and all i can say is. If you like wasting petrol on nothing but listening to your engine then buy one of these. They are brilliant toys. Possibly the fastest and definetly the scariest car i've ever owned. Loving every minute of it so far and its even broke down already. I dont care though, only an Alternator. Being a Rover V8 thats not going to be a problem. Havent driven it in the wet yet and to be honest i'll try to avoid that if i can. Here's some picies. Its a 99 plate 5 Ltr .
