Pretty sure you dont have to do that Gav. I thought you'd only have to lose the spare wheel well.
-
Yes pls Ant. I'll have one. 8)

I think it is lower now.

Na, chop the bottom lugs off then drill two pilot holes inline with your slots at the bottom then screw in 1 1/4" self tappers into the grill from the bottom. Not all the way and leave them sticking out. Sounds rough but you cant see them. Basicly the two screws on the bottom act as the lugs would.

Thats my mate Neil. Thats only one of his 3 Forced Induction VW toys. I think he does read this forum now and again.

I wanted to try fitting the Project Zwo (or however you spell it) mirrors for the MK3 golf. They'd look good if they fit. :?

LOL C nut. Wait till its finished then. :-P

I did wonder about that. Mine might be different as its a dizzy model. Good luck tho.

It should be attarched to one of the lower bolts that holds the inlet manifold on at the front of the engine. Think its the most left inlet on its right hand side.

Thats a very good price with the adapters included. Tho i think the PCD on those wheel are 5 x 112 isn't it ?

How can i lower my emissions on my VR ? MOT failed again and they wont look at it till Saturday. Is there a C02 pot i can play with ? TIA

Yes the G60 loom will plug straight into the 16v fuse box. You'll need to get hold of the G60 clocks to as i think the 16v still had the mechanical odo meter.

Totally agree with dinkus here. Just fitted my MK4 calipers this weekend and they are great. If you are going to change the rear disks don't even consider doing them without new bearings. You'll save so much time.
-
Yes they did come as a VW option heated.

Cheers Andy. Should of said then we could of swaped. Hows the pedal box conv coming along? Need more room to run that IHI ?
-
Cheers Kev, Glad you approve. Also noticed that Volvo Green the other day too. Looked stunning.

Cheers, it will be coming off soon i think. The paint was done at Autospray in Aberdeen. My best mate's old man own's it so I get good deals for cash. Even tho that job wasn't cheap I still got a good price. My exgirlfriends old MK2 you came to see is in there at the moment too. Yup £700 and they're yours ! Na , I think i'd only swap them for 17 in BBS RS's. Yeah the first time we rolled it out the body shop I kept thinking it looked very military. It's nicknamed the Nazi now.

Thanx Guys for all your comments. The wheels are 9 x 17 on the back with ET 47 and 20mm adapters. Fronts are 7 1/2 x 17 with ET 52 and 25mm adapters. Tyres on the back are 215/45/17 and 205/40/17 on the front. I agree that they do look strange on the back but I am getting polished design 90's on it very soon. Looking back i should of extended the arches but nobody up here wanted to do it. A few of you know just how long it took me to get those wheels into the UK let alone on the car. All in all i'm very pleased how it's turned out. I was originaly going to paint it a Porsche colour untill i saw a Mk3 Golf painted Oak Green in germany. Really all it needs is a set of BBS RS003's to make it look right. All good things...... Cheers

hehe I know. i was in two minds about that really. Think it will be coming off soon.

oo  Don't let Rodders hear you say that. I was winding him up yesterday saying that it was VW's original "classic" green
