  1. makes me sick how nice it looks!!! I'll start again after my trip to the bodyshop in May!! Should be good, new o/s wing and door, audi handles, & respray in a fresher, greenier green, instead of my standard metallic bottle green!! Oh and my roof gutters are going too can't wait 8)
  2. Cheap M3s 8) Got these on a dark green C, look great, wish I could have got them this cheap 2-3 years ago  (£99 this month only)

  4. The doors are designed so that any water passing the seal (quite normal) drains out through the holes in the bottom! VW wax treated the doors inside so they shouldn't rust. Holes could be blocked? Is the water leaking inside the car itself? If so the door's waterproof membrane probably needs resealing/replacing.

  7. I thought it was a Late interior improvement. My '90 valver didn't have it and it's not in the manual. You can get a 99 relay from the scrappy and do a straight swop or buy one from these guys just search 'wiper relay', £19.56 + VAT
  8. Clear with chrome bulbs - the way to go! Worked nicely with upgrade to late fogs/indicators and M3 style rears, in my opinion!!!
  9. Maybe one of your c/locking vacuum lines have become detached or split. onbly way to check is dismantle and see. Happy hunting mate!
  10. mate, if you've already bought them, get them fitted and stop faffing!!!
  11. If your shelf is sorted, you've got a decent sub, and components up front in decent pods you really shouldn't need sh1te like that!
  12. thanks to billinjahg60 for my rear hatch trims, top bloke, I'm trying to buy more off him!!!!
  13. If it's early and got variable wipe it's been fettled! Not a bad thing though!!
  14. the washers work with the rear window and the heated mirrors. You knew about them right?!!!
  15. I'll go with dr_mat, clearly totally out-there....wherever that is!! Good work you mad loon
  16. set from a vr6 would fit with some small work but you'd need late spec indicators too as they fit into the surround of the fog lights. this link shows you what the later fogs with surrounds look like. You will have to push out or cut out a piece of rubbery plastic behind either the fog or indicator, i forget which, it's obvious cos there's no clearance til you do! :) I found the most awkard bit was tracing where the driver's side(right side!) fog light wire went and disconnecting it. You need spagetti arms and/or jack it up a bit. It's more straight forward than it sounds so don't let this put you off! End result a much nicer, fresher looking front end. Do it, you know you want to. 8)
  17. yeah I've heard it's relay 99, though the one i sourced didn't have that onit. here for £19.56 + VAT

  20. It was taking about 5 sec to drop from 3k to wherever it decided idle was gonna be. Sounded like I wasn't lifting off for gearchanges, Very frustrating. All in all it was pretty bloody bad! Still seems okay though, so I'm happy with that :)
  21. Also interior had re-vamped door handles, door opening handles, window and door mirror switches/postions, stalks and dash switches, door pods, and steering wheel. Think that's it.... cue somone else! That may be when the variable intermittent wipe came in as well but that's a bit of a guess.
