Samcos come with a lifetime warranty, when bought they come wiht a form to fill out and send back to register it, Might be worth goin g back to them even if you didnt as its pretty easy to tell samco hoses, they might end up replacing just the ones you need. Hi All The fire was started by our T25, it had been running and used recently and our mechanic chap was moving to our workshop a short drive away, it started, ut out and went bang sending a fireball through it, himself adn warehouse staff tried to tackle it with fire extinguishers but it went up so fast it was impossible It took out Ben here's early bay whihc was next to it, our crafter work/show van, never seen something so destroyed, our company mercedes, Bens new beelte, he lost 2 cars, he is currently on holiday,the peugeot was Daves here a staff vehicle we think its repairable, and the green beetle got away failry unscathed a melted rear light and a fair bit of paint damage blistering onteh rear quarter, the wind was going the other way so it didnt really take the beetle and pallets in the yard, It was scary for all of us here, scary how fast it spread and that nothing could be done, many of our vehicles including my own T5 were inthe car park so we all feared for them Its complete accident, we dont know why teh T25 went bang, it had been used recently adn we had used it to take off parts and have them replicated and re made. Hi All Is it worth me setting up full sets of glass, ive got a suppleir that can do full sets of green tint replacement glass an top tint screens, Would you buy new glass? How much woudl you pay for it? Is it something people want, im not too sure what the second hand market is like for glass in the rado world

magnecore when setting them up (i have 8mm blue ones in my vr6) to sell at heritage i found out The 7mm ones they do come only in black The 8mm ones they do come only in blue and i think the 8.5 or 10mm ones were red IIRC I have teh blue ones fitted they just about fit int he plastics on my VR6 with some force an filing. I have some BBT black leads to go in mine as i want the original look not too sure what they are like, i was given them adn have heard good and bad things about them.

Does anyone have a carpet set they would be willing to part with?

Obviously its hard for us here too as someone like me aims to set up the corrado bit to benefit you guys, whihc is why ive put my time into it, but i come up across battles of high prices on corrado parts and lack of alot of bits, I am bound by suppliers prices and margins but i do try and get them as cheap as poss, Any classic bits you do find with a large mark up let me know as its shouldnt be huge, and we offer free postage on orders over £35 too. Anything that is too expensive, like samco, autotech, magnacor etc let me knwo as we can usually price match and will price match. any parts anyone comes across that need sourcing etc let me know too as i will aim to try and find a source.

Hi This has been up a while and i am adding each day to it, standrad parts mainly, ive got alot set up that isnt up yet as its awaiting pictures before it can go on the site. Some of the genuine parts are expensive but unfortuantly classic make the prices and not us. We dont put a huge mark up on classic parts, and obviously by ordering via us you pay no postage at all. The mirror for expample we list at £220.90 classic list at 252.20 euros which works out at £210.17 so thats not a huge mark up plus you will pay shipping from germany, i think people assume we put a large mark up on classic parts which isnt the case. Also in regards to samco, we try and keep in line with other companies selling the same products, i price check some items most days, if you find something too expensive do let us know as we will also price match any other supplier out there. As in the other thread im constantly searching for new bits for corrados from the parts that you guys have asked for in the thread We are not VW and we are privtaely owned and are the UK partner from classic parts and do buy genuine parts from other sources also. from teh research i did on here people wanted standrad genuine patrs, but some aftermarket for engines which is what im trying to achieve within the corrado section but as you all know genuine parts new are not the easiest to find Clumpy 1 we are not out to shaft anyone as most of us here are enthuisists running several VWs like many of you, and dont want to pay the earth for parts

Yes it would be by newton commercial as thats who suppleis most of our carpets for our ranges. Am still on the look for a good condition sample also and will also need a test fit car for a first sample. I think its worth sending a really good condition carpet for them to copy so they can really see hwo the quality should be Im sure we can get them to do an underfelt kit also if there is enough interest.

It would probably be similar to the mk2 carpet we do as it would be teh same supplier, Personally from looking at them they are pretty nice quality, i'd fit one, i wasnt aware that a corrado carpet would be any different from a mk2 apart from obviously shape and fitting, i mean quality wise.

Hi Guys Im looking to get carpets made up for corrados to add to our new section on the website (VW Heritage) I cant find anywhere that does a new set curretnly looking around. Can anyone give me any info on colours availavle, whether there are more LHD than RHD? What would you be prepared to pay for one, and how many people would want one?
