Another Mulberry in Wigan !. I still ain't seen another Corrado in the area since I got mine 12 months ago apart from one parked in Billinge.

last night when I switched my headlights on the green illumination failed to light . Up till then it illuminated on side lights and dipped beam which sudgests its a group buy re manufactured any ideas why it now dosn,t illuminate ?

It isn,t the intention for it to stay stock but most of my funds are being piled into my VW Bus . Having said that I am enjoying a stocker but minimum requirement is lowering I can,t live with the gaps between arch and tyre !

Quite possibly James do a bit into Wigan . No pics its bone stock not a lot to see !

Well had a busy festive period with the VR. Bought the car from Lewis in October and a good sign for me was he was genuinely gutted to see her go I did feel a little guilty taking her from him . My first impressions on the drive home where yep I love this car so smitten from the of another good sign . The past 4 months have entailed daily driving sometimes involving a 36 mile commute down the M6 . Surprisingly the VR is better on juice than the Golf VR she replaced . I was also surprised at how much faster the Corrado is a nice surprise to say the least. Anyway about a week into ownership the driver's door handle stopped working so 4 months of entering via the pass door and opening drivers door I was waiting for a chance to get the car down to Lindon at Dubhause to have a look at he doesn't do repairs as sutch but knows just about everything about VAG motor's. Anyway I rang him a couple of weeks ago as the MOT was looming and it wasn't passing in its current state. I, d done a search on here and found Daves door repair kit but didn't fancy tackling it so asked Lindon what his stock of Corrado spares was like " not good " was the reply he, d only broke 3 in 15 years so only had a couple of boxes and no door handles..... Daves kit it was then this was duly dispatched and recieved in short order excellent service . So I read the testimonials on the thread about installing the new stainless steel life saver . Boxing Day the weather was fine lets do it. With help from my neighbour the job was done happy day's. So yesterday on the way home from work called in at the MOT station left it there and an hour later she's passed more happy days . Also over the period I, d received a Corrado badge from Cazza again excellent service .On taking the old broken badge of the grommets disintergrated Andy suggested VW might still do them ...Indeed they do 70 p each even more happy days

Fitted today the pivot pin being the pain in the ass luckily my neighbour is a mechanic so he was able to do that for me I think I,ll send the pass side to you when I can ! My electric window won,t fully go down now though I thought I,d clipped the central locking wire out the way could it be anything else ? Won,t be able to tackle again for a while but the main thing is I can book her in for an MOT now so many thanks Dave these cars are only kept going by enthusiasts like you making the stuff we need top man !

Ok I need a new Corrado script badge a guy has a Blackberry coloured script the one thats broke on my VR6 is silver/chrome effect what should be on the rear of a 95 VR6 ? Body coloured or Silver anyone have the Definitive !! Answer please :cheers:

Blackberry in colour or offa a Blackberry ? Would prefer silver I,m assuming thats how it left the factory ?

As title mine has broken at the do ! After silver / chrome effect ? car is Blackberry all the ones available are every colour under the sun or in primer

Hows the coolant level ? I had the same problem on my Golf VR and tried locating all possible leaks in the end it was the heater matrix dumping the water into the car it affected the front and rear footwells passenger side

My snorkel has already been removed ! These VR,s must be incredibly quiet with them fitted . An exhaust is going to be the only answer for me

As I,ve got no illumination on my heater controls at present I,d like to give this a shot green and blue red if possible :cheers:

What do they sound like ? For me the standard exhaust is far to quiet so I will be getting a full stainless in time but it needs to sound better than a stocker nothing massively rorety but louder than stock .

Sure is got to be one of the best and a good chap to boot
