Well thank you very much for you well wish. Yes it is good.... I've not been well at all. So yes I'm back. That story us for another day ehh...
I must be one of the best for asking stuff as my knowledge is friken zero. I'm sure tho that my suspension has recently got worse. It seem much softer.. And car has more bounce. So I'm defiantly think of a solution. I'm just still unsure what to do. I've got money to chuck at it. Just can't decide if she's worth the amount on the link above, for a best replace it certainly looks good.
I would just like the corrado hub to give me some other options. Or if anyone's got some.... I too don't want it super low or coilovers...
Thanks again to all who help in advance..
-
I like the sound of some new suspension too, mines not a vr6 and it's 4stud wheels. Not sure I want to spend 650-700 on some plus I can't fit them myself, so I'd like suggestions... I was thinking about audi tt ones maybe, where someone has removed them for a lower. I must admit. I'm not the best at all this stuff. And the suspension is one of those things I get lost in.... I'd like to drop mine a touch and modernise the system as it's been hammered on local speed bumps..
Thanks in advance guys
Michael.
Elsecar today was great, big up to the two show cars and guys who got there's on the corrado owners side.
-
Yeah new one comes with gasket - quite a nice little assemblyDoes the gasket you have just cover the clear plastic part,?
Mine sitsa good few millimetres off the bodywork. It's also heavily corroded. I seek a good seal that runs around the entire edge from tip to tip.

Guys I've been busy this week, but I've just read all of your wonderful suggestions. I intend to print all of these and assist with the Owner (Mark) to the Garage where it's at and get him sorted.
I shall upload a few photos of her too...
Your all superstars
Regards
Michael :)

Relays?Ill text him that, wonder if old relays are still in place. Wonder which are the starting ones
-
All alarm/toad crap removed at start.
I agree on auto electrician too
-
It now turns over but will not fire up.
guess we are now seeking a check list of things in order to check/sort and go from there....
the place it's at is a standard back street mechanic place. was a means to store it and get worked on in there spare hours. but my friend Mark hasn't seen it on the road for 18mth, I'm guessing they don't get much free time there.... Hahaha.
yeah so a good check list now needed: As obvious things been replaced.
Thanks for reply :)

Hi guys,
This lovely Red VR6 is dead and has been well cooked, after it was hooked up to a forklift for a jump start, once the key was turned the increase power moved the left on windscreen wipes go hyper speed and 'pop' the cars electrical system wiped out the lot. The high 24volts were way more then acceptable :(
The aftermath.
Car now completely dead, no dash lights.
What's been replaced at a local garage where it's now parked looking sad are:
ECU
NEW FUSE BOX
FUSES
COIL PACK
any ideas guys?
Car I found out today has been off the road for around 18mths :( we need her back out there as its a beauty.
HELP,!!!!!
THANKS IN ADVANCE.
Michael
Sorry in advance for future Bumps to find a solution.

All sorted now, thanks to Chris [lilfuzzer] hero once again and in double quick time.
First time this week I've smiled.
-
That's mint Chris, let me know soon as I'm off the road :( issues like this when its your daily are a bummer. Mind it's all I've needed since I got her. Ill call later today too if that's ok or in the morning?
How's Verity?
And thanks also Dave, with Chris being local we'll see if he's good and keep you as a sub on my bench. You are both great.
Btw, those tension clips area a total C**t to fit back on. I fitted the dealer T piece yesterday in place of the one heavily corroded and that's now in place ready.
Thanks again in advance
Michael

Got to the bottom of my minor dribbling of minerals. I purchased a new bottle of VAG, PAS Mineral Liquid in preparation and removed all the pipes to find a spoilt T pipe connector and reservoir bottle with a freking hole.
I've sorted a T piece, just can't get my hands on a fresh PAS Reservoir Bottle. :(
Can any kind sir help me out?

Lol wish it was that simple, got it "running" but have a stalling issue, think I need to drive it a decent distance now to see if it sorts itself out....Drive it down to me.

Not sure how the tailgate would have worked, hinged sideways?
Lovely photo, the bar at the very back rises at 45mph. hahaha
To finish any of these classic cars off I'd say it would be rude not to include a pair of Lamborghini doors. On the remote
-
I would be game for a rr day? Would we get better prices if we were to have a load of cars go?Is my car worth a dabble on one of them,?
I'm Planning a big meeting 'North East' and looking into a 'park up and eat'
I'll BBQ the job in end of June or start of July, like a Pre 25th meeting give folks something to work towards and seek help if needed in time. For big run. I'm currently looking into Xcel Centre. AYCLIFFE
it got a starbucks and toilets etc etc. Could get a wheel wizard guy there maybe a few competitions, like a wheel change challenge etc etc. Parking challenge, it's easy to find.
if all north easy owners came, I've 30guys all with cars north of Harrogate area. So Xcel is central.
decent undisturbed car park near a McDonald's and A1 too.
all though the McD's wouldn't be nessisary as BBQ will sort the job,
On another note, it would Be also good if the Corrado GB know of hotels near the 25th and I'll sort with them a big discount for a block corrado booking and we'll all get together before the big event. I'm the king on the telephone at getting deals.

I looked and the fron to start with & thought so what.... then as I panned back: wwwoooooaaaahhhhhh - kill it!!!! :lol:I did exactly the same, I've previously seen a few pick-up truck corrado's but this is just so special, the thread had to be revived,!!!!
-
If its a late car, I'd use a sharp Stanley blade and gently cut off all the raised areas on the indicator and fog front lense, I did this on the rear lights too and it eliminates raise lamin-x and air pockets

From Hartlepool hereWe got ya bro. ;)

Just found this old tread, couldn't resist on rekindling it..... Gosh,!!!!
