I love some of the comments guys, happy when I make people smile. I just started it because I had jar in the cupboard and thought I'd take a few photos. My best attempt at a build thread.
Tesco Peanut Butter : poor mans bumper dressing :D
Wonder if he classic branded Sunpat may have a better result?

I decided today that I'd sort out my plastics, Especially the scuttle panel.
I'd heard a good while back about using peanut butter as oils and stuff effect and react on certain plastics.

This looks to be the best result,!!
It's left on for around 1hour, less if it's sunny warm weather. (so that's one hour in the UK)
Take off with a dry cloth and hey presto black or restored colour plastic.

I intend to do a re'coat in a few days. As the exterior has turned out only 85% Then I'll let you all know if it's a long term solution, or the grey returns
Has anyone else tried this or other products on a well weathered panel.

Finally got my engine bay tidier and ready for the North East meet next weekend. Haven had a chance to get my Samco hoses on though :(Also new set of genuine mats from the dealers, just to add a final touch as mine are looking a bit tired.
How much are they from the dealer?

trust the weather to turn **** again , im hoping for nice sunny conditions though , that route sounds good im betting it takes longer than an hour though and maybe we could all stop in the middle somewhere to get a few pics and have a chat
Weather looking at its gonna warm up a bit.

Im sorry but you could pay to have one restored for less that these wallys are selling them, you can take the engine out one in an hour and everything is simple as hell so to find a shell have it shot blasted, welded and powder coated is 5k then say the car cost 5k, plus 10k on interior etc....im not feeling 40k plus, when we had our garage my dad worked on hundreds of these and he couldnt stop laughing at how much people are charging as there just isnt much work in restoring one.I might get one to restore as an investment if there going for money this silly

First main meeting point of the day: 11:30am (20min wait) in Thirsk, Marage Road Coach Park opposite Barleys Yard. (between B1448 & A61) only pay/display if cars left unattended.
We shall travel East along the A170 into Helmsley to the forester house car park on Cleveland Way its a large car&coach park behind the Helmsley Riding School, we should get parked up together there depending on other traffic, as its St Patricks Day and these little towns live for there Saturday and Sunday business we'll just see. After making sure everyones there, quick hello etc, then into cars at 12:30 for a full circle of the coach park to pip horns then off out......This will be 54 mile full loop route. From the cleveland way car park we'll start by heading north out of Helmsley on B1257 road through Great Broughton into Stokesley Then head west un'named road passing through Easby, Kildale & Crag Bank Wood. the road will end before reaching Danby then its turning right to head south through Castlton and the beautiful North York Moors via Fadmoor to Kirkbymoorside Village. Finally we then take the fast A170 west back to Helmsley and into the Cleveland Way coach/car Park. The drive should take about 60mins in total who knows.
Your welcome to pay and display here afterwards and head into the market square(2min walk) for a look about and some food. Plenty of shops, we had also been offered in: The Black Swan at £25 ahead or afternoon tea there at £18.

That sounds cool bro, I too had ordered front fog,, indicator and the red rears without discount. Ill order headlight soon and hope you'll give me special treatment then.
Hey a good idea might be for the corrado, could be the suggested sizes for the selection of light cluster options ready for new owners to click and just order and maybe you could also do ready cut?
