I opted to buy a corrado vr6 ,same as you shall I or not? Sod it bought a half decent car had it 12 months now and it is my daily to work and I love it. If you tinkering about then go for it. At least you get the looks off people when your out and about.

Have you checked for fuel getting up to the engine bay from the tank to the engine(fuel pump). Checked for a spark? I think you need to rule these two out before carring on.

Cheers for the info guys. Using HT paint looks like the best option then. Probalby will go for leaving the manifold on the car and masking everything, for the quick option.

That looks a good job. How hard is it to remove the manifold? Are there any gaskets etc to change if taken off? Looks like it could be done still on the car. With a bit of masking off.

I'm wanting to spruce the engine bay a little. Would like to know what the best kind of silver spray to use. Does it have to be heat resistant? or can i use normal paint? I'm going to be painting the manifold, and then the plastic rocker cover as well.

When i got my car (which is 12 months today, thats gone bloody quick). The seats were shall we say cleanish, i used the house Dyson ball and was hoping that i would not need to wash the seats etc. On using it the seats came up a treat could see a massive difference. well chuffed. :smug:

Was going down a busy main road stopped at the pedestrian crossing lights on red (as you do). Guy about 30ish walked over the crossing and paused half way across,looked up and down the car and shouted, bloody hell not seen one of those for ages mate! thats mint! Put his thumbs up and carried on walking. Made me feel well shall we say a little bit good. Just the other day also i had my car MOT tested and the tester a middle aged guy said after i asked him what was the out come of the test, replied "well the only thing wrong with the car is..I haven't got it'". Car passed btw , was well Chufties. :thumbleft:
