John i did my oil change opted for VW's Synta 10/40, £22 for 5litres and don't forget you need approx 6.2 litres if i'm correct, also got the filter as well.
-
Cheers Guys.. Sean, where did you get your bearing from?
-
The last couple of outings the tensioner sounds like its on it's way noisy when engine has been run for a couple of minutes. Does anyone know the best place to get the correct part from? Looks to be not a complicated job. M8, 80mm bolt needed for the tensioner. Might as well change the belt as well while i'm at it. My car has no AC so need to use one sided v groove belt.

This a pic of the back view same as mine, slots into a female socket located under the glove box in my car. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=conlog+alarm+fob&espv=2&biw=1433&bih=738&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwih3OKy_-XKAhVIZCYKHfC6D0MQ_AUIBigB#imgrc=X8E7NWYHRnxFjM%3A

Yes John thats it pretty much. I'm having to use the slot to get it to work. I"M no electrician so know nothing about wiring.

I have one of these fitted to my C , and it's playing up works ok for a few presses and then stops, also a new battery was fitted 2 days ago. Can i "switch" it off without having to rip it out?
-
My battery is starting to feel the strain as the car hasn't been driven too much this winter, i have a Varta fitted, been in the car for 4 years plus. Been quoted £45 for the same one, not too bad tbh.

Up date, I have bought a set of montys, they were in reasonable nick, until i got them delivered the courier who delivered them must have been playing curling down a gravel path, no paint left on one of the wheels. Will have to do a refurb thanks to him. They were wrapped in bubble wrap but had no obvious damage to the plastic bags they were also wrapped in. I was in two minds anyway to refurb them back to new finiish, i guess this forced my hand for me.

As for moister soaker upper, i'm using two socks filled with cheapo cat litter had them in a week now and there is now minimal steaming when the car is stood. Just put them on a radiator in the house after a while to dry out, can be used over and over again.
-
As per title after some Montys 5x100 for Corrado. Possibly with tyres and in good condition.
