Yeah I am trying not to worry about mileage too much. As to the tax disc, the mileage is recorded by the post office from the MOT reading isnt it?

Is the odometer quite easy to mess with in Corrado's? I don't know much about what's involved in that so this might be a silly question. I'm just wondering if I need to worry about the mileage not being genuine on the cars that I look at.

I must admit I haven't seen that many myself around where I live and the ones that I do see belong to our local VW club :D I personally will have my Corrado as a 2nd car, take it out on weekends and to shows/meets, sometimes to work on a nice sunny day.

Lol I can imagine that's not very fun. I remember when I drove the Golf back from London, not having driven a car with power steering before or actually having done much driving within London either. Was fun though when I got on the open A roads of Buckinghamshire. (Sorry to keep going on about the Golf btw, cant share any Corrado stories yet! )

Awesome, thx. I've owned my Golf for 5 years now and been a member of a club for 3yrs so I have a fair understanding of them but I wouldn't say I am "mechanical". I prefer computer software, you can always undo things

Yeah, I spoke to him also. It was one of the first G60's I found when I started looking but its a bit above my budget and I didn't want to offend the bloke by offering him a lot less than what he is asking. Lovely looking G60 though. Just so I understand it right, the term "valver" applies to the 8v or 16v or both? (I'm still learning my Corrados )

This is looking good! I will be watching your progress closely also as I will want something more than the standard setup in my Corrado. My Golf is running a 12" AA Chaos powered by a JBL GTO14001 with CDT CL-62 components so I'm used to better sound quality that OEM systems
