Nice one, well I'll pop some money into my paypal so I can pay you in a bit then dude. That quote I got is for upto 20kg so that should cover me for the packaging I guess. When is good for you for a courier to collect? And you'll have to pm me your postal address too dude. Cheers
-
nice one, cheers mate. decent tyre too... dont suppose you know what size the tyre is do you? also when you say 57x20cm which bits are you referring to? sorry for all the questions, looks like it'll probs be a courier job anyway so I'll get one priced up and send you some dough asap! cheers again matey! edit: please excuse my rubbish 'mock up' but are these the measurements you refer to? I'm getting a quote for the courier and it's asking for 3 dimensions so I'm putting 57x57x20 + 18kg. best quote so far is £7.99.... bargain!

x2 if you're local, I'll take em! :)
-
any joy on the weighing/measurements dude?
-
ahh cool, I'll get this spare rocker cover all spangly then lol
-
yeah me too... cheers dude!
-
dont quote me but I belive central electrics 2 is the answer (same as your golf).... btw welcome!
-
indeed, it's calling for a service, as I said Im thinking of doing the cam and tensioners so I may do a fairly major service on it too. It runs really nice, starts on the button even when it's been freezing so it'll be good to give it a bit of love as payment for serving me well thus far! Incidently am I right to assume that the 1.8 16v engine in a corrado is a KR engine, same as in MK2 golfs? If so I have a mk2 golf kr rocker cover spare, will it fit? I was thinking of sprucing it up off the car and then fitting it.

Thats cool, I will do mate if you are happy to wrap it for them. Dont suppose you can come up with a weight and rough dimensions? (dont say 15" lol). My brother in law lives in milto keynes and travels up to notts every other weekend, I think he normally uses the m1 but I'm just thinking if I can get him to take a detour and come up the a1 instead he could poss grab it for me.... bear with! lol

I see.... well I managed to have a look earlier and it's actually the inner pulley. Well I'm assuming so, it feels loose, however with it being the inner it's obviously pinned into place by the outer pulley so it should hold... just sounds crap :( As for the squeal, thats pants tbh as it sounds awful... like a dodgy fan belt whenever I turn the car round... again, sounds crap!

Breaking 91 .corrado early 16v NOW WITH FREE POSTAGE
afterlife replied to rodmax's topic in Cars for Breaking
have the seats and door cards gone? what condition are they in? cheers -
ah, does it come as part of the pump then for replacement purposes. Outer pump is £20 from spares so worth a new one I think, was just thinking of doing cambelt and tensioners at same time anyway just for the sake of it really, seems daft not to whilst I'm at it. My car is 90/91 H reg though... also would the issue you are talking about cause the squeal on full lock or have I got a seperate issue by chance? cheers
-
anyone???
-
How does £20 grab ya mate? Is it 15" yeah? Cheers man! p.s: your private messages thing is full dude; wont accept any from me!
-
Can anyone help with this? one of mine has a crack in it, it's still holding air but I'd sooner change it, I have another set of rims for the car but I kinda like the estorils on it the more I look at it & either way it'll make a full spare set of alloys if anyone has one kicking about. cheers
-
I have a rattle lol.... sounds to me like the water pump is on the way out as it's in that vicinity but could it be cambelt tensioners? Interestingly a belt squeals on full lock, I'm assuming the power steering pump is on the same run as the water pump and thats whats causing it? maybe??

LWS Design - Carbon Fibre Roof Skin

Bit random on a corrado forum but do you do any mk2 scirocco products? -
I'd agree with that, wood is always going to absorb the vibration better than say metal or some kind of plastic, especially if you wrap it in insulation before it's final covering too.... out of interest, what is the issue with running standard door cards; clearance I assume?
-
Awesome, love it! lots of inspiration there... well done! edit: I think the dash really suits it too... I always think that the Corrado is one of those cars that despite it now being 20 odd years old it still cuts it with modern cars and doesn't look particularly dated. The MK4 dash really feeds in to that modern feel, I think this would look great with a really 'executive' themed interior, really smart looking, possibly black leathers with the odd bit of chrome detailing.

sounds good... and well deduced I dont recognise her! I'm actually no where near the city, Im up in North Notts, but its more like South Yorks really, I'm far closer to Doncaster and Sheffield then I am to Nottingham. Takes about an hour to get to Nottingham from here but only about 35 mins to get to sheffield! -
any 195/45/16 or similair (e.g 195/50/16)

well they meet monthly mate so there is always another one to get to... we have a meet over in Retford during the warmer months too which can get surprisingly busy! I have a 1.8 16v KR, slightly tuned and kicking out about 150bhp... she's no beauty queen though and there is plenty for me to do paintwise but she is mechanically sound and not rotten and was CHEAP! haha... I bought her by accident really as I have a scirocco which is my main focus but I managed to bend a valve in that so I was just after a cheap car and the Rado cropped up... the plan now is to get the Rado looking 'well' without going over the top and keeping it as a slightly more comfortable and user-friendly daily and then go balls out on the scirocco project with cages and buckets and phat rims etc lol! -
