any chance you would post up the part number of your Brands Hatch alloys? On ETKA there are two versions, one for the passat and another for the Corrado. they are different off sets. Just interested to know which you have. thanks dude.

how is the ride quality with the Eibach Springs? Is it a little lower on the rear than the front?

I got some very nice new wheels.

BBS RS 009's which were originally 8X16 ET11

They outer rim was removed and a 1 inch rim fitted making them 7X16 ET11

I have 15mm 5X112 to 5X100 adapters.

The rears fit fine and are flush with the wheel arch but the fronts sit out about 10mm too far.

Its there anything I can do to cure this?

I was thinking that maybe one could rebore the wheels to 5X100 but who can do this and has it been done by anyone on here before?

Secondly I was thinking I could shave maybe a few mm off the inside of the wheel, ie where it meet the brake disk? thus making the wheel sit a little further inside the arch?

Any ideas or opinions guys? These wheels are like brand new and in perfect condition.

I have gently tapped at the drivers side hinge downwards but it doesn't budge. Driving me mental........he he he

As always thanks to everyone for their advice. There is defo draw back to making these fit. I don't want to loose the height adjustment. My missus requires a boost. I'll hold out for the real mccoy.

so could I butcher the base of my standard seats to get them sitting right?

I heard they may sit too high alright and that does worry me. I'm about 6" 1inch and always sit at about the lowest setting.......can anyone confirm? Much appreciated. Thanks.

I want to fit these and re-trim them in leather.....are they are direct fit to the VR6?

Currently, age 29, I am paying 700 euros fully comp with Quinn with 4 years NCB, thats about 478 sterling.

I have had all of my Corrados insured with them here in Ireland. True they don't like mods but will still cover after an engineers report.

Sorry, I meant to say that maybe the MAF is causing your stalling.

@ Peanut, All my VR's have had that connection and although I'm not sure what its for, I reckon it does meter something and has a purpose.
