Got a Golf engine in mine at the mo.Clutch and flywheel is different
-
They are m6 evo 1s actually! think they have a ford focus adaptor plate which i trimmed down for thr job
-
Cool,im doin 2l soon aswell with 42 inlet, firebreather, flowed head and 2 zorst cams. Will go back to stealth in new year
-
nice,mines only 60mm
-
let us know how you get on with it
-
You can get em off ebay for approx £20,think someones sellin some in the forsale section also
-
Because the 16v head has to flow a right angle to get the gases out it makes the head very restrictive, thats why the zorst cam has a wilder profile. Any improvement made to the zorst side of the engine is a good 1
-
dont like, and corrado mechs are completly different to golfs
-
wicked! what size is it?
-
They are worth the money.Ive got a tsr one from a golf on mine
-
mine goes up at 46mph
-
I had same prob as above, car done 121bhp on rollers, changed pulley and got 162bhp
-
heres mine,il wait for the critisism
-
oops! did you make an adaptor plate for it?
-
well??
-
no,the stamp is on the long runner intake on the left runner on the top half. This is the 1 i have i mine
-
Yep my passenger side 1s gone!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Theres actually 3 different types, theres a 42mm long runner intake which came on early golfs, then theres the 50mm which stayed on golfs from approx 88 onwards, then theres the 42mm short runner wehuch came on all corrados and passats
-
Im guna put it up 10mm at back as the zorst now rattles on rear axle
-
heres a pic of my rado on different wheels and lowered more at the back so its 90mm front 100mm rear on 17s
-
The 1.8 8v makes 112bhp as standard
-
Whats that dellorto 1 from and what size is it?

Anyone converted their 16v from k jet to digifant from a mk3
flusted replied to rmn's topic in Engine Bay
I think the point to be made now would be,say you fit your abf, then mod it (cams head etc) Then get it tuned and dynod with k-jet.Then convert from kjet to digipants, get it mapped will you make more power for the expense of the time, money and labour for the bits. Also abf injectors arent easily upgraded as they are a stumpy design IMO I cant see if i converted to abf digi, how i would gain anymore power over my existing set up,which is basically what the topic is asking! (Might be my fault about the 200bhp k-jetters comment  ) -
Yummy! I still cant believe the differnce it makes changing from my flowed tb back to a standard audi 1,its now crap
