Just bin it! its only there to help car running in -10 degrees which you wont get in uk anyway (i dont think) -

it links into the run on valve and airbox -
4 branch and 2 exhaust cams got me 162bhp at stealth with a tune-up. Defo worth gettin 1

I was thinking of doing the conversion on mine,my mot friend said it wouldnt affect mot but i appreciate the legalitles of it. Wouldnt need the washers as i could wash them myself lol

i basically fitted a 4branch and ran 2 exhaust cams,then a tune up at stealth and got 162bhp total lot cost me no more than £500 (did work myself tho)

cos the abf is taller,the zorst downpipe hits on bulkhead but a hammer cures this! I bought a whole audi for £300 off ebay,managed to sell about £150 worth of stuff off it already aswell!

yeah,im doin it at the moment using a 6a engine from audi 80! ABF blocks are 18mm taller so there might be clearance issues but the 9a/6a blocks are identical to kr

My gearbox is starting to get very noisey due to input shaft bearing goin :cry: can get hold of box from a 1.8 carb passat but will it fit/work fine on my 2l 16v? Any advice appreciated

dont think its that simple,think bores are wider

just cos u lower it wont necessarily make it rub anymore as the suspension will be stiffer,it might rub now cos its so wallowy with to much travel?

You better not get more than 162 BHP or I'll have to do some more to mine. I'm starting feel like my valver is a bit weedy. Without being big headed,im bound to make more as i would of fitted a flowed head and 2l since my 162bhp run with the 1.8!, hoping for 185ish bhp
