oh just thought id add something else-i have just noticed that the first time i drive my car every day (ie when its cold) its fine and doesnt encounter these problems, but once its warmed up it does. Does that throw anymore light on the situation. And finally, ive checked on the swedish and german website to order the temeprature sensors (black and blue) but not usre if they are compatible for the G60 or if they are just for the VR6.

jus looked throught the threads and found a list of fuses and what they for-only problem was there were two that had rear spoiler next to them. Can someone please clarify which ones are for the rear spoiler pls

wat fuse number is the spoiler? ive lost the cover and so cant find out which fuse will need to be replaced to try and sort my knackered spoiler

I know there are loads of thread mate but i cant make head nor tail of them . In eed some step by step instructions on how to check these things out. Car is really doing my nut in but i dont wana have to fork out cash at dealers. Ideally would like to give it a go myself and at least learn a thing or two while im doing it. Hope someone can help me. Pls :(

ooops, Its a G60. I only just replaced the plugs and HT leads so i dont think that could be the problem. How do i check the other problems that have been mentioned? If i go to put it into reverse with properly coming to a stop and am still slightly rolling then it does cut out. hoep you guys can help me. Amrik

Hello all, My C is really starting to play up and at a time when im looking to sell. It basically has started to idle quite rough, and if i rev it upon releasing the pedal the rev counter drops suddenly and the battery light flickers and sometimes so does the oil light. Then when driving, if i push hard to accelerate, i get some smoke and it feels like i am hitting a wall because it just doesnt repsond. Then, when i am slowing down and dip the clutch the car often just cuts out for no reason and other times the 2 lights mentioned seem to flicker. It is actually very dangerous and i need to get it sorted asap. Finally, my mpg has drastically reduced and £25 is only getting me just over 100 miles when it used to be a lot more. Any advice would be helpful and hows to tackle problems would be appreciated as i am very much a novice under the bonnet. ps.- was told by someone that it may have been the idling valve as it appeared to be sticking so i replaced that but it still has same problems-bloody waste of £40

i know its taken me ages to reply but i been in and out of hospital, but hopefully thats all sorted now. Anyway, drove my C and the problem is still there but now the battery light begins to flicker when dipping the clutch and it can even stall when i go round corners etc-not safe at all. Does this confirm that it is my dizzy or could it be something with the idling valve. Finally, the CAT is really starting to smell-any suggestions would really be helpful to me because i am useless when it comes to cars. Oh, last thing, is anybody based in Newcastle, and if so could they reccomend a good garage to take my baby to. Thanks

Help everyone! My C is recently playing up. It seems to really die on me when im accelerating, and even with my pedal to the metal the revs jus fall away. This is making me really paranoid when pulling away from junctions and overtaking as one minute it can be running fine, and then the next this happens. Once it begins to die you just have to hope and pray no one is up your arse and then it suddenly kicks itself back into life and we're off again! Any ideas? Also it would really help if someone in the newcastle could reccomend a mechanic in the area that i could take it to to have a good overall health check as im a bit of a novice myself. Cheers

when i first got my corrado, it used to beep twice when arming the alarm and just once when dis-arming it. Im not sure what kind it is, although it definately is a CAT1. Anyway, for some reason, ive lost the beeps although the actual alarm and central locking still works. ive got the feeling that this means that only my lights will flash if the alarm goes off. What could be wrong?

ok people. My C is playing up big time. Was driving yesterday and coming down slip road and car just starting jerking big time and wouldnt pick up even though my foot was flat to the floor. Knocked it down into 2nd from 3rd to try and pick up power and getting going again, but that didnt sort it. It eventually picked up after a few dodgy seconds (bout 10). What could be causing this because after its little moments like this it runs fine, and then it will happen again out of the blue. Is it my plugs? Hope you guys can help

Hello people, OK, im a bit of an engine novice, and so dont really know how to explain my problem. Basically, when i try and accelerate in my G60, the car sometimes seems to have a lag between me hitting the accelerator and the actual response occurring. Other times, i put my foot down and it responds straight away. It seems to be doing this quite often, and also sometimes you can really feel the stuttering under the bonnet. Is it a problem with my charger or something else? I checked the charger using the MFA and the values arent brilliant so i think i will be getting that overhauled in next few weeks. One last thing, can chargers be completely overhauled in 1 day by G-werks? I was thinking of travelling down there to get it seen to and get the overall health of the car checked. Hope you guys can help

Hello all, Im having problems with my passenger door handle. I cant open the door from the outside as when you pull the handle, it obviously is not pulling the mechanism to open the door. It does however open from the inside. So, is it just the handle that needs replacing or is it the whole lot? Any advice on what to do or how to go about it would be grately appreciated as im relatively new to such things (never actually done any of my own running repairs :oops: -but willing to learn and start). i have a problem with mine too. It unlocks car, but i get a buzzin noise behind the fuel cap that takes approximately 30 seconds to fade away. Its the same noise as when i unlock the whole car except it just carries on. Wat could be wrong?

hey, that sounds like the problem on my passenger door.It pulls slack for 1st cm or so and just doesnt open door. How do we solve it? I aint gota clue. HELp!

Hello all, My dash lights seem to be a bit temprimental. At night when i have my headlights on, the lighting behind the temperature control panel sometimes comes on and other times it doesnt. What could it be? :roll:

cheers guys, will have a look in the next few days. Oh, one more problem. My passenger door wont open from the outside. It does from inside so mechansim is working. How do i resolve problem?
