Thanks for recommending Elite, shot down there this morning (Tuesday) and within a hour they had checked the alignment and corrected the camber, great service and helpful staff. James

Yep, ignore GPCs website, the price is £85 + vat + postage and the postage is the bitch as they get hit with a £21 surcharge for anything over 5 feet before the weight cost.

GPC at Luton list them at £30, I'm giving them a call today and will check they are genuine VW parts and will post their response. James

Hi Guys, I'm presuming some of you have changed your 50mm spoilers to 90mm or vise versa and I was wondering, is it a straight pug and play swap regarding fixing to the bumper or is there some adjustment needed? Cheers James

Can someone confirm that the rear number plate surround is held on by self adhesive and location lugs as I've got a bodyshop trying to tell me that you have to strip out the motor for the spoiler to get to screws behind the trim. Cheers James

Hi Guys, I'm after a set of coilovers, I've trawled the forum and read the majority of posts regarding coilovers and I've seen that you guys have quite a selection of brands fitted so I've narrowed my choice down to either FK Konigsports or a set of Konis so I'm now looking to you guys for comments/recommendations on either. Ordered a front grill badge today from ARZ Tuning in Germany, cost inc postage €25.71 = approx £17.80 I'll let you know what I think when it arrives and post some pics. James

Just been told by my local VW stealership that the chrome VR6 badge that clips on the front grill is no longer available, apparently deleted 2 years back. I have my original one which is in good knick if a little stone chipped but was looking for a new one for shows, so, I was just wondering if anyone knew of anywhere or anyone who might still supply them. Yeah, I've seen Halfords are selling them at 97 notes, problem is getting one, all the shops near me are out of stock and I've been told they wont be stocking them any more. There are a couple of Halfords on my way into work I plan to pop in this week to see if they have any, otherwise I'll wait until the shows come around and see if I can pick up a bargin.

Hi, I need to remove the wing mirror to replace a broken seal. Now I know how to get the mirror off the door but can anyone tell me, the electrical lead that goes through the door, can that be disconnected from behind the mirror glass at the motor or do I have to remove the door trim and disconnect it where it joins further dowm. Thanks James

I know fans and heaters have been covered before but the fan speed / blower switch in my VR has stopped working on speeds 1, 2 & 3 but still works on speed 4, has anyone had this happen the them or does any body have any idea what the fault might be? Cheers James
