Hi dude, I used spacers, 30mm hubcentric ones - I can get a pic of them, but there was like 35mm as I was running the 30mm spacers and and extra 5mm spacer underneath that... Now I'm running 15mm on an 8.5j wheel so I am inbetween poke and tuck on the klutch wheels... I'll try upload a pic of how it looks at the moment from my phone :)

Nice one buddy. I'll jiggle the wires and scrub the contacts see if that helps. Only happens at the speeds and revs stated, all the rest of the time it's fine lol

Thanks dude, looking a little sorry for itself at the moment haha - it'll get there again

Hi all been through a few Corrado's since being on here but I think I've found a keeper! It's a 1992 G60, currently 133k on it, in a one year only optional extra colour called Violet Touch. It's a nice deep pearl paint, looks the nuts! Picked the car up in August last year with collapsed sills, so I fabricated and welded new ones on using oem templates, sorted. Currently not being used, but I have a renovation plan. Picked it up on Borbet A's staggered 16s (great wheel for a rado) but early in the year I decided to go down to 15s. Currently sat on a set of Klutch SL1s 15x8.5 wheels, while I build my BBS splits up. Still toying with the idea of air ride, but it's all money I don't have at the moment! Anyway, here's a few pictures of before I took it off the road for it's change in looks :)

Thanks mate, it's not on the road at moment as I took it off in Feb to do a few jobs... Haven't had chance to look at it. As far as I know the sensors are correct. I'll give the connectors a clean, and go see me electrician mate about the wiring. Hope it aint the pump! Haha

Hi guys, My G60 Rado has the strangest fault out of any car I have owned. Basically, the oil buzzer and the light come on when I am in certain gears, at certain revs doing a certain speed... and it only does this when it's warm... For example, I'll be on the motor way cruising at (70mpg ) and then I will hit a 50 zone (good for fuel saving I guess!) I'll slow to 50, after about 3-5 seconds the buzzer will go off (doing 50 in 5th). I can put my goot back down and as soon as I get near to 55mph the buzzer stops. After a few tests I did, it happends at 40 in 4th, 30 in 3rd and 20 in 2nd. Only way it will stop is if I drop the clutch and rev the car. It's had all new oil sensors twice now so that can't be the problem... would you guys suggest that it's faulty wiring?? The car drives fine, doesn't smoke or use oil etc, and the oil temp is always where it's supposed to be as well - it's just annoying haha! Any advice would be sweet

Corrado 16v Selling my 16v Rado as I now need a diesel due to change in mileage per week. 16v KR engine 1.8 with a forged 2.0 bottom end. Polished 50mm inlet, polished rocker cover, polished alternator. Battery relocated and washer bottle relocated to boot, where there's a small boot Build in a false floor. Engine had a lot of work. Stainless plated battery tray in bay, semi smoothed and tucked. 4-2-1 manifold leading to a full Magnex system. Paint was originally dragon green but resprayed in mk5 golf schwarz metallic, very good but could do with a machine polish, which I hope to do this week (weather dependant). Decent coilovers, not ebay crap, smooth drive. Brock B1 16x9 wheels with nearly new tyres, rears do catch on archs as they're 205 40 and the fronts are 195 40. Reiger front grill and eyebrow, inpro headlights and fogs, smoothed front bumper with custom number plate bracket under bumper. Audi TT wiper upgrade. All red rear lights. Full heated leather interior (needs loom connecting to fuse box, switches are all wired in already). 162k on car however due to a clock fault, they were changed and now showing 139k. Interior is pretty much immaculate, few issues when I got it but 90% of those now solved. Headlining has been blackened with paint rather than dye by previous owner, not a bad job, but I'm picky. Only real bad bits, if you class them as that are, sunroof, although fully working on tilt and slide, there's a clip missing on it which connects the exterior panel to the interior panel, I haven't done much digging into it as I just open the window lol, and it's running slightly lean. I will be fitting new exhaust rubbers this week and hopefully I'll get around to getting it running less rich. There's 2 tiny patches of bubbling paint, one on sunroof panel, and one right next to windscreen seal, both are hardly noticeable unless you're looking for them. Car comes with a custom fit ibiza cupra front splitter and an almost mint condition 90mm splitter (currently attached). For anymore info, or to arrange a viewing, pleade please call or text Tony on 07884344784. I'll PM you as you're pure miles away from me lol

Haha - does it still have the black clips which hold the interior panel onto the exterior?
-
When you say Semi Working what do you mean? I only need the small part that I'm missing as the entire thing works 100% except the interior panel isn't connected to the outer one
-
Hi, I need a small part.. It's a latch/bracket type piece which connects the exterior and interior sunroof panels together allowing them to both slide/tilt at the same time... When my sunroof is tilted, the interior panel which is supposed to tilt, just stays where it is and flaps about - and it's sunny now, I want my sunroof lol!
-
Is this still available?
-
Hi guys, My sunroof is fully operational, however the interior panel doesn't tilt with the exterior steel panel, and when it slides, the interior panel doesn't slide back into position. It seems that there is a missing bracket/latch piece which connects the 2 together. I have no part number, or any idea what it looks like - but I need one. Has anybody got one for sale please? Thank you

VW Golf MK2 for swaps or sale Hi, Here we have my pride and joy MK2 Golf GTI 8v. A lot of time, effort and money has been spent on making this car what it is. The car is used daily, and has 178,000 miles on it, full service history, loads of receipts, and bill of sale. The engine is absolutely perfect and doesn't miss a beat. Gearbox is also very strong, pulls well, and is fitted with a short shift linkage. The body work isn't immaculate, but it is very good. There's the odd ding here and there, and the paint isn't 100%. Few lacquer peel patches, but nothing that you wouldn't expect from a 23 year old car. The car does polish up really well, pictures don't really do it justice. Interior is absolutely mint, no rips or tears at all. Very very clean, and looked after. Rare Ultraviolet interior, fitted with factory rear headrests - I have yet to see another Golf MK2 with them in. Comes with a choice of steering wheel, I have a MOMO team 280 (in the pics), MOMO team 300 which has been flocked (currently fitted), or I have a standard Golf MK2 steering wheel. Obviously the car is modified so here it is: Lowered on FK coillovers (fitted April 2013) Klutch SL1 wheels, 15x8.5 et17 all round. Custom painted centres in Audi Pearl White wrapped in Kumho Ecsta 195 45 tyres. (wheels and tyres fitted Feb 2014) 16v brake upgrade all round, vented and grooved 256mm discs up front, Corrado hubs etc - upgraded all brake pipes with copper brake pipe April 2014. 10mm rear wheel spacers Camber shims all round running 3.15 degrees rear, 2.45 degrees up front Recent full laser wheel alignment (April 2014) G60 arch kit fitted, and arches trimmed to accommodate the wheels Polybushed top mounts and rear beam (helps keep the car flat in corners) Full custom built stainless steel exhaust system. Longlife built by Tony Banks in Leeds. Only modification to engine is K&N induction kit. Car also has a fully working manual sunroof, no leaks etc, Electric windows, fully functional, heater works on all settings and blows hot and cold. The past month the car has had a new indicator stalk, MAF sensor, throttle body, throttle cable and speedo cable. This car has had no expense spared on it. Owned for 3 years now and completely turned it around. Tax Jan 2015, MOT April 2015. Looking to swap straight for a nice Corrado VR6 or sell for 3000. No offers. Car owes me about 5000+ Cash sale is cash on collection only.
