  1. Corrado 1.9 G60 4stage corrado for sale. 1991, full leather karmann interior. Would like to sell before the 31st of May due to having no storage! Very reluctant sale due to not long having the engine rebored, new pistons, piston rings, new crank + many more engine parts replaced along with a stage 4 supercharger! Not many miles done on the new engine as been in storage since. It has also got new tyres, brakes and pads. It does need a few minor things doing to it but I haven't got the time anymore being self employed and two kids takes all my time up now, any interests please contact me 01885400364, 07969866285. £2,995
  2. Unfortunately the time has come that I have to sell my Corrado :( It has never failed me, I just don't have the time or space for the continued love and maintenance it requires any more now that I have moved. I don't know what more to say on top of what I have listed on ebay so I shall link it: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111303385539 As I need a quick sale I will let it run with no reserve, though I will pull it early for offers around £950 ono. Thanks for looking!
  3. After 2 years it has finally been given its marching orders by the wife. It was running before being garaged, but was only supposed to be temporary until i got around to finishing it. Would rather one of you guys have it for spares/repair rather than it just dissapear or end up scrapped. I have tried to restart it but the immobiliser seems to have reset itself and despite trying a few of the tricks cannot seem to activate it at the moment. Its a 93(L) 2.0L 16V in Black mileage from memory was about 126K, all as standard even original springs put back on, standard espodril wheels (need restoring. Interior is in good condition, as for panels Front bumper has been replaced, drivers door has been replaced but it wasnt the best so would look to replace that, Not really interested in breaking it for spares as i need to clear it from the garage. Will get some pics uploaded if anybody is interested, i am not looking for much for it as i said, i love Corrados so would rather let you guys have it than it tragically end up on the scrap heap or with somebody who wont give it the respect it deserves. I am in Hereford HR2
  4. Year: 1989 Spec: 1.8 16v Mileage: 150k Tax: Just taxed it last week for 6 months MOT: July 2014 Located in Peterborough, Cambs. Very very reluctant sale but needs must. I bought her exactly 5 years ago this week on 100,000 miles, give or take. She has been my daily driver now for all 5 years and has had a lot of work done to her over that period. I am moving house and need to clear some space up so the car has to go. It has always been my intention to get her ready for painting but have never got round to it, I spent my spare cash on the mechanicals instead, as I felt this was more important to me personally as a daily driver. So below is a list of what I can remember in the last 2 years; Reconditioned Head - Stripped fully, cleaned, polished and ported with new seals @ 140,000 miles. New Cambelt fitted at same time. New Water Pump and thermostat. Water pump belt modification so it does not run the idler pulley any more as they are not available. New Distributor and cap New Plugs New Air filter Oil & Filter change less than 5,000 miles ago. Brand new discs & pads for last MOT (Front and Rear) MK4 Golf Rear Callipers 288 Front Callipers Coilovers New top mounts New front wishbones with powerflex bushes New ARB Drop links New Tie Rod ends Full set of new brake lines fitted Goodridge braided lines fitted to MK4 Rear callipers New Inner and Outer CV Joints fitted both sides New Radiator and Fan New Starter motor New Battery (2 months ago) Rota Cup Alloy's (4 fitted to car, will need refurbing really as a bit dirty...) including 1 immaculately refurbed spare wheel with no tyre. Passat Moonroof Audi TT pedals Audi gear knob and surround Sendai USB stereo with fusion door speakers, tweeters, fli amp and sub in boot - cant be bothered with the hassle of removing it all! Inpro Red / Crystal rear lights Inpro Halo Front lights Badgeless front grille Corrado Script floormats front and rear Im sure there is more, I just cannot think at the moment... So as you can see, I have spent a lot of time / money maintaining this car mechanically, I have tried to keep the paintwork in as good a condition as possible throughout my ownership - but being a daily driver it has suffered a little. Important things to note; It has your standard Corrado features such as, interior rattles, poor wipers (although these would be made 100 times better with just a new set of blades, which I may end up fitting just out of the goodness of my heart), the sunroof only tilts - no slidey, there is a little knock on full lock of the steering occasionally. I think thats about it, oh there are little bits of random Camouflage dotted around the car, including the headlining :) It is a very honest car, and I am as honest as I can be with all of it. I genuinely do not want to sell, but I think it is about time that I let someone else have a chance to put their mark on her and treat her with the love I will not be able to give in the near future. I also have a garage full of spare bits I have aquired which will go with the car at the asking price: Set of front discs and pads (may even include rears, I cannot remember) Full set of roofbars (used once) Spare brand new starter motor Spare dragon green rear bumper (if wanted) Original rear lights Loads of other bits too that I cannot remember right now. I am looking for £900 ONO with all the bits listed above too, plus anything else I find in the garage for it. I could make a lot more from selling the spares individually, removing the wheels and putting steel ones on for the sale etc, but to be honest its not about making money from this sale - its about moving it on to the right home. I dont want to drag this out any longer than I have to. On with the photo's!
  5. hi, please help save my storm i do not want to break it. i'm selling my storm as i have 2 other cars and i can't afford or justify putting it back on the road. the car is a mystic blue storm with 125k on the clock the car failed its mot over a year ago and i have been planning on sorting it since then but have not had the time and now have a new baby and have zero time or spare cash. the car failed due to: rusty sill that needs replacing/repairing leaking shock absorber failed emissions (now repaired and passed) coil pack replaced brake imbalance (all parts are fairly new but the car was off road for 12 months so a clean would sort) a suspension bush or two i can't find the fail cert so this is from memory there was an advisory for: coolant leak (thermostat housing as only leaks when hot from that area) an oil leak which i was told was the rocker cover there may have been a few more but the only fail of any concern and the reason the car is off the road is the sill as it required labour and the cost of the sill and i don't weld since being off the road the battery has gone flat but it does start with a jump start and the engine oil pressure light now comes on when its running but there is oil (i believe this is just the oil has slugged up a bit through lack of use) someone with the right skills could put the car back on the road for little cost to them other than a bit of time. i really don't want to break the car down so someone please make me an offer, i honestly would be happier taking less for the car to be fixed than to see it broken down. i know a nice storm can fetch 5k and it wouldn't cost a fraction of that to put the car right. i'll try get some photos sorted soon. any questions please message me oh also the car has an log conversion fitted so runs very cheap but can be removed should you not want it. it was professionally installed at a firm in wales. the car is located in york should you want to see it. Right folkes im making some time to get pics sorted on thursday or friday this week. Ill email the specific pics you have asked for (those that have asked) Update Hi folkes Unfortunately i think the bottom end has gone on the engine so it may not be what you are looking for. It still runns but sounds rough. There is a knock in the bottom (thats how it sounds to me. If any if you are technical and interested feel free to make me an offer. If not and you want a donor car or you feel you can make money breaking it again make me an offer. The leather is tidy and worth 500 to 600 theres a spare coil pack the head is fine theres a cd player a spare number plate plinth spare front grill 2 possibly 3 good avons the 4 wheels the lupo wiper conversion straight doors boot subroof etc. Oh and the stag 300 lpg conversion. I cant be arsed to break so give it a shot i can only say no. Thanks for your questions and interest folkes. The car has now sold
  6. Sadly i need to move my Corrado and parts on. I've just moved to a flat and have limited space for it with a works van My intentions with the car was a Oem plus feel 151500 miles in good used condition The car has been used once or twice a week but only short journeys i would say it needs a good service Paint work is in good condition a few stone chips and odd mark but no signs of rust. Small scratch on sunroof which does slide and tilt last time i used it The bump strip has been removed. I have a complete set ready to be fitted One indicator is cracked but replacement set ready to fit The pictures also show after market side repeaters in wings. I have a set of oem hellas to replace Rear lights have been smoked but once again original lights with be supplied The headlining a b and c panels + sun visors have been trimmed in a dark Alcantara Has the Audioscape door pods ( horrible fitting speakers) originals come with car It comes with original alloys that have been refurbished but painted and none standard colour by previous owner. The tyres have done about 2500 miles Interior is the black leather as standard with all but the drivers seat been refurbished. The drivers seat bolster has collapsed but i will be supplying a new replacement Heated seats get lovely and warm A apline head unit has been fitted with blue tooth and 10 disc changer and a sub (not my thing but...). I will be supplying a oe unit(s) with sale The heater controls are also in good order but again will be supplying spare with sale Original dash center console has a few cracks have mint replace ready Steering wheel is in average condition next to mint one ready to be fitted Engine/running gear etc all in good condition. I would say the engine would benefit from a good service runs good but a tad lump until up to temp Suspension is after market unknown i would say of average quality tends to feel bumps more then my bum likes I've replaced the radiator last year with a second hand vw unit Parts included with sale VSR manifold sadly missing cover plate volt/oil pressure gauge Set of Recaro ultra violets in very good condition front seats and back Original warning triangle and first aid kit (out of date) Battery cover new spare rad twin fan assembly As you can see i had more or less everything to make a very very good I'm asking £2500 for everything and this must all go together Feel free to email me [email protected] or call 078 433 899 54 Cheers Gareth Right i can't upload pictures but can send any you request over email -------------SOLD-----------------
  7. I still have this for sale. I can't seem to upload pictures so it's now on eBay. Here's the link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251494864468. Description is still correct apart from the road tax has expired. Hi all, Unfortunately the time has come for me to move my corrado on. It's for sale through no fault of its own. My employer has now restricted use of my company van so I can no longer use it for personal use. With my fishing addiction and having a large dog the corrado is no longer practical. The car is a 1995 on a M reg. It's covered just over 123,000miles. It's got MOT until October (no advisories on last MOT) and tax till end of March. The car is completely standard with the exception of a Lupo wiper conversion. The spoiler and sunroof both work as they should as do the windows and the locking. When I bought the car the heater controls didn't work. I've replaced the controls so now all 4 speeds work and the hot and cold works correctly. The direction control however does not work. This is down to the Bowden cables been bent, not the controls themselves, so these will need replacing. I have left the cables disconnected so no damage can be done to the controls. I have manually set the heater box to blow air onto the windscreen so there's no problems with steaming up. The interior is really tidy, there's the usual bolster wear on the drivers seat but it's only the foam. The cloth is not damaged. Engine wise it runs great, no smoke or any untoward noises, starts first time and idles well. Drives really smooth with plenty of power. All gears select as they should although if I'm been picky 1st can sometimes be a little stiff to get in but it's never caused me a issue. Exterior is not bad for its age. In my opinion it does need some areas tidying up. Both front wings are showing signs of rust. There's also a small amount of rust one of the rear arches and a small amount on the tailgate and the top of the windscreen. There also the usual age related marks and dings. Don't let this put you off though, it sounds worse than it actually is. It's by no means rotten shed, I just want to be honest. There's a few areas that have obviously seen some paint at some point in its life. It's still a presentable looking car. Other work done recently includes, New genuine vw gearbox mount Dave's door handle repair kit (drivers side is fitted, I have the passenger side but not fitted) Heater matrix done Abs ecu replaced New parcel shelf straps Centre console replaced along with clock surround. I also have a updated headlight loom to fit which I'll include in the sale. The car is currently fitted with a bmc cda, this will be removed and the standard air box fitted. The bmc will be for sale on its own if interested. Overall all its a good solid original car that's ready to drive away, it even has bf a tank of super in the tank. It would be ideal for use as a daily or could be restored. Also would be good for breaking. I thought I'd offer it here first before it goes on eBay at the weekend. I've not added any photos as in having trouble adding them from my phone. If your interested pm me a email address and I'll happily email some to you. Any questions please ask.
  8. Well here it is, it must go to someone who will either see it through and finish it or split it all for part and without doubt make a few $$$ Everything really needs a good clean and there will be areas on the body work which will need some attention and some new paint as a minimum. The wheels all need a refurb, stip and repaint - not just a polish!. The tyres are brand new, driven only a hand full of miles It has full FK silverline adjustable coilovers Oh and the R32 engine ;-) Custom stainless downpipe with audi stainless exhaust manifolds Oh the full custom interior! well documented in the build thread but there bits to finish. The seats will need the trimming finihed (all leather supplied and the old covers to use as templates). Theres a few bits which I had intended to trim in Carbon fibre (supplied) for the centerstack and center arm rest. EVERYTHING is included, what you see is what you get, it was far easier to photograph everything than list it all but I will try and add comments to each photo I WILL NOT break for individual parts I'm afraid as I need the lot gone in one go please. £1000, and collection sooner the better but you will need a trailer. The history of the build can be seen here: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=45755 If you have any questions please ask. ....be great to see it finihed....... http://s289.photobucket.com/user/dou...0Garage%20sale

  12. Hi, Here is my 2.0l 16v 9A Corrado for sale. It is a '93 aqua blue pearl that I've owned for over 7 years. It has been an amazingly reliable car, especially for its age and mileage, 212,000. The only time it really gave trouble was when the lambda sensor failed. It is amazing how much of an effect they can have on the engine management. The car has just failed the MOT on emissions and i've decided it is time to either spend some money on the engine and paintwork or to let it go. The garage are encouraging me to keep it going as there is no rust at all underneath, just a bit around the rear window. All it needs is a cat to get through the MOT. The engine still pulls well though is a bit lumpy when cold and uses some oil and water. It has a Magnex cat back stainless steel exhaust, RS4/TT replica alloys and I put in a new windscreen this year. Anyway, as I've no drive or garage to start a project myself it has to go one way or another. MOT runs out on 02 December so can be driven away until then. If you are interested in a project let me know by Friday or it will be off to the breakers. I'll add pictures this evening. £750 ono Thanks, Robert

  14. Loads of views but still no offeres, I'm reducing the price again....... Dark metallic blue, 2.9l VR6 for sale.Mileage is 142,000. Interior in good condition. Electric sun roof, electric door mirrors - all working. Great sound system with 10 disc multi-changer. Front tyres and battery brand new. Comes with roof rack. I have all the old MOT certificates from the date I owned her (2003) and have kept all the receipts for the work I have done in that time. No MOT. The car was running well when the ECU went around 18 months ago (I have the old ECU, one of the pins snapped). It took a while to find a replacement, I fitted it and the car starts again sell the VR6. While the car sat for 18 months, the bonnet release cable snapped and the drivers' door currently doesn't open. Only one of the hydraulic struts for the boot lid works. The front has a number of small stone chips and the lacquer is peeling on the passenger side (see photos). The paintwork itself is fine. Location : Beckenham, Kent. I have more photos, but some of them wouldn't upload (I think they are too big).
  15. I am selling my mum's corrado VR6. She had passed it onto me as a working project, but i just don't have the time or money to put into it. So sadly we have come to the agreement that it should have a new owner that will. Milage is 154k. Engine runs well. Drives very well and always a pleasure behind the wheel. Recently serviced. New auxilery belt and battery. New rear wheel bearings. New heater matrix which is a quality part and not a cheap copy. Interior is cream leather with working heated seats which is nice :) I have done the Dave16v centre console fix along with a mk4 leather handbrake lever upgrade. I also have interior window trim/seals in good condition spare as current ones have cracked due to sunlight. Fresh six months tax and MOT in october. Has a moon roof, but sadly the mechanism is at fault as it will not open and shut properly. The bodywork is in need of some repair. There are areas that have rust. But passed MOT with them recently without issue. I would love for someone to fix her up as she is a great looking corrado in a rare and attractive colour. Hate to let it go but my mk1 golf project has to take priority. Located in Westerham on the West Kent / Surrey border. £900 o.n.o. PROVISIONALLY SOLD. 16. The time has come when I regrettably have to sell my Rado due to a lack of space. Attached is the link to the eBay listing (apologies if i should post in the ebay section, just figured that as its selling my Rado......) http://bit.ly/1fwPTfs (copy and paste this to your internet search bar) Not mentioned in the listing, if we get the asking price, we'll also let you have what spare bits we have. We have the original (OE) rear lights, a couple of pieces of interior plastics (i forget which), and I think the drivers footwell carpet (black). We actually bought this Rado from GloucesterOx a couple of years ago, so has been with Forum members for some time. She's a wonderful car to drive, and I really will be sad to see her go. We have very fond memories, as she was our wedding car when we got married last year. So, I will also say this much, if you're intending to break this car, don't even enquire, I will NOT sell her to you!!
  17. *sob, sob* The time has come to let my baby go to pastures new, i am looking for a loving home after 10 years of relative bliss owning this lovely little hatchback that can still give most cars on the road a good run for their money! Its high mileage, almost 200k, but still going strong due to an engine rebuild about 10,000 miles ago. Original drivetrain, but no whirs, bangs or bumps. Replaced clutch at same time. Subtle modifications like a k&n intake, upgraded coil pack, and some crystal rear lights, bbs style alloy wheels but apart from that its all original. Its sitting in my Dads driveway, currently SORN, and no mot, but it starts and runs fine. If i get interest we can put it through an mot, and go from there, but i know the abs sensor light comes on and have replacement ones to fit, but no time to do it, so hence looking for an enthusiast, not just a poser with no appreciation. A little bit of TLC will reward you with a lovely little mover! Looking for offers around £1000. Thanks. Cant load photos very easily so link here: https://db.tt/3fyq50ec
  18. For sale a 1992 Volkswagen Corrado G60 (Moonlight Pearl Blue) 132583 Miles. I’ve owned this car for 2 years and am the 4th keeper. It has been used as my daily commuter covering 28k miles approx. mainly on the A34. It is taxed until 31st October and the MOT is not due to be renewed until April 14th 2014. The charger was serviced at 105,000 Miles and the Cambelt / Water Pump 109,405 Miles. The previous owner made some well thought out performance modifications. The car features a full Stainless Jetex Exhaust System , 68mm Pulley, RSR Outlet Kit (Boost Return Deleted), Oil Cooler Oil/Air (Original water to air removed correctly with new water pipes); 4bar VR6 Fuel Pump; Liquid Charge Cooler, K&N Panel Filter and was mapped at Stealth Racing @ 195hp . The body work is in fair condition, there has been some questionable Jack placement on the sills and you can see a little corrosion in the Photos. The full Black Leather Interior is very nice. I’m hoping that the pictures will give you an accurate idea of what to expect if you would like to view the car. The car has comprehensive Service History mainly at dealership and some receipts. The car was most recently serviced at EDM Motorsport at 129,153. Any questions, please PM me. Link to PhotoBucket Album http://s1249.photobucket.com/user/josbusby/library/Corrado
  19. 1990 VW Corrado 16V – Non Sunroof Here we have my advert for my 1990 VW Corrado 1.8 16V I bought this with the intention of taking the interior out of it for my other Corrado project, and turning this one into a track day car. However, due to a lack of time, space and money I am forced to sell it. I have quite a bit of History on this Car, it was used as the previous owners daily drive until approximately 2009, then the Heater matrix went and he parked it up at his friends Garage hoping he would fix it for him. When coming down to see my Dad and his Land rover one day I see this parked up and make enquiries about buying it. A few weeks later it is mine. It had already been left standing at this garage for about a year before I bought it, then two years after buying it. This summer I started to strip it before realising that having two project Corrados isn’t really sensible. At the moment as you can see in the photos the only trim installed are the front door cards, dash, and front seats, however I have retained all the grey interior from my other car so the New owner can reinstall the interior making it a normal road car again. Good points: -Non Sunroof Model, extremely rare. -Original suspension -15” BBS alloys -Spoiler motor completely functional. -All Electrics work -Good Runner. -90mm splitter -Rust free around fuel flap -Corrado handling is spot on -Not terribly high mileage. -Trim retained including headlining. Bad points -Extremely tired Paintwork, Drivers side completely matte, and scratched to hell. Passenger side recently compounded to give the paint some shine. -Rust on passenger door, tiny patches around arch and under rear spoiler. -Car stood for a number of years so needs all liquids changing. -Needs a thorough service for the same reason as above. -Two tyres have punctures. -Missing fuse box cover is the only bit of trim that is missing. -No speakers in front door cards. -No Mot -No Tax I hope you can see the same potential in this car as I saw in it when I first saw it. With a thorough service you could have a fully functioning 16v track day car, if you wanted more power the 1.8 20v Turbo go in fairly easily giving you access to seriously big power. Also as most of this car is Golf Mk2 sourced suspension and engine components are very accessible. I have the most recent MOT test fail report so you could see exactly what needs to happen to get it road legal. I honestly think this car is far too good for Breaking. More Pics Here http://s568.photobucket.com/user/jamie_300/library/Corrado Price £600, near offers accepted, can do offers where you bring your own wheels, or do not want the big box of the interior parts. Location Bordon, Hampshire If desired I have access to a car trailer and prepared to drop the car off to you however as this is provided by my father, it will need to be evening or weekend time and I am not prepared to go too far. 21. Car is now sold to a nice chap called Paul, from Cornwall , sure he will be on the forum : ) Thanks to everyone who expressed their interest, end of an era for me, the various corrados have been a lot of fun over the years, on to a porsche now which I'm looking forward to! : )) R32 | ice grey violet | dorset Price: £5500 Description: Hi Everyone Well unfortunately the time to sell has come, I've absolutely loved owning this car and feel lucky to have done so, its a pretty special one which is well known on this forum, car used to belong to Mr Kev Haywire and he is the one who should take the credit for building/developing such a really great car! As those who have followed the car will know it started out as a vr6, then supercharged, then turbo'd and now with an R32, perhaps if its not to much to ask could either Kev or one of the mods perhaps do a link to Kev's build thread please? Have a good look through, you will see that it is extremely comprehensive, it is in fact why i was so confident buying this car from Kev as the guy really knows his stuff and has done the conversion and the whole car properly! I have owned the car since Oct 2012 and have just made a few changes since purchasing it, slightly lower, legal metal plates, black rear plate plinth, short ariel with new base, good clean and machine polish/wax, lots of cleaning the inside and replacing various plastic trims, installed the quite rare cloth electric Recaro's (in blk). It has also had a new sump, a coilpack, and accelerator pedal. I did have great plans for this car, basically a usable show car was what i was going to go for but i've been offered a lovely 911 that i just couldn't pass up so this sadly has to go : (. There are a ton of parts included in the sale, i would like to sell this as a job lot with the car which will hopefully go to an enthusiast with the Corrado love! There really are too many bits to mention, Kev passed quite a bit on to me including a spare gear box, pas door, sunroof bits, service items, steering rack, wing mirror, high flow fuel pump, sports cat, manifolds, extra set of speedlines with snow tyres! I've also been collecting bits over the years, std gear knob and steering wheel, brand new blk samco hoses, some of Dave16v's under bonnet stainless goodies, de-locked handles/mechs, lots of interior trim and probably a whole load of bits ive forgotten (i will have a good look and make a list!) Not included in the sale are a brand new full carbon bonnet and a set of 16" BBS RS wheels so if someone is interested we could talk about those items in addition...... So in short; its an R32 (mapped by Stealth Racing to something over 260hp, although Kev reckoned there is more to come), with a shorter final drive gearing, quafe limited slip diff, vibratechnics mounts, uprated bushes (r32/tt i think), KW V3 coil overs, rear strut brace, 288 brakes, mint speedlines with continental sport contact tyres with lots of tread, recent mot and tax, lovely cloth electric Recaros , everything works, abs, spoiler, sunroof etc. Only thing that lets it down slightly is that the paint isn't perfect although its acceptable. I have put up some pics from when i bought the car from Kev, will try to take some new ones over the weekend... Car will be available for viewing from tues night next week as i'm flat out till then. im asking £5500 and will not take any offers, that is what the car owes me minus the replacement bits I've done since ownership, therefore the van load of parts should be viewed as a massive freebie to the right person who is going to take care of this car in the future. Either message me on here or call me 07703287739 (my phone won't take voicemail so if i don't answer drop me a txt) Laurence.

I gave the car a service when i bought it at the start of 2011 and have barely used it (just around town and short motorway journeys about an hour at most) Engine is really quiet and super smooth which id expect after being treated so well.It is very strong pulls well and the car sounds fantastic!!! The bits that need attention: sunroof was swapped to a moonroof and it kept leaking so it has a bit of silicon around it to keep it water tight for now (still got the original solid steel panel to fit to the fully working mech) needs Tracking doing Paint work needs some attention here and there some bits blowing in. i recently fixed some scabs around arches and on bonnet just used solid black to get it protected it can hardly be noticed but to make it nice and shiny it would need blowing in in the correct colour. Currently working on paintwork to tidy it up. Replaced the rear bumper a year or so ago and this also needs painting as its just solid black. Currently no tax Full years test £1700 with RH ZW1's £1500 with Audi flat spokes £1400 with old five spoke
  23. VR6 | Blackberry metalic | Aberdeen Price: £3500 Description: hi folks due to changing circumstances i am putting my Corrado vr6 up for sale, the car is an N plate car with full service history, maninly VW dealers and a few independant garages as well. fantastic condition newly resprayed and serviced, below are the full details. 1994 corrado vr6 finished in Blackberry metallic fully resprayed 2 months ago by specialist cars vw bodyshop to a fantastic standard No rust what so ever 131 000 miles on the clock 5 owners from new Great condition £3800 Sunroof works, windows work and the spoiler all work, very unusaul for these cars The car as stated above is in great condition with no flaws, the underside is also compleatly solid and on numerous occasions has been said to be the tidiest example seen for a long time when in getting work done at garages. it has 131 000 miles with great history and a huge folder full of reciepts showing previous work done by previous owners and myself. the car was owned for a large portion of its life by an older lady who was a corrado finnatic and spent thousands on upkeep as shown by the reciepts The car is very near standard only with a few subtly modifications such as KW variant 1 inox line coilovers, (the stainless steel ones) with a fantastic quality and ride quality 288mm front brakes from late spec MK3 golf vr6, fully refurbished with new seals, disks and pads these increase the stopping power hugely over the standard items. Miltek cat back exhaust with centre section delete pipe which sounds fantastic. Cone filter to further unleash the great sound, but standard airbox is also included. bump strips removed, door handles color coded to give a cleaner apperance. About the respray, when i bought the car it was very solid other than surface rusty spots and stone chips on the car, not bad for a 18 year old car though, but after getting my mk2 golf resprayed a year ago i decided to go down the same route to restore this car to its original glory. they have done a fantastic job, windows out respray and all imperfections fixed. i also have a spare fully painted wing to go with the car, this was done at a large sum of money but worth it in my eyes to restore the car. i regularly remove arch liners to remove any dirt and clean all components. The engine is very sweet, having just been serviced also, with new plugs, leads, oil, filter e.c.t, there are no untoward noises from the timing chains due to having been very well maintained throughout its life. it pulls fantastically and sounds awesome. the fuel consumption is also good if driven cautiously returning 25mpg on my commute and up to 40mpg on a slow drive out the road. the cluts is also good. the car sits on mirror polished audi tt alloys which look lovely and are shod in 4 good tread tyres. the interior is also fabalous condition, the black cloth seats having been stream cleaned regularaly by myself. so all in the car looks fantastic, goes great, stops brilliantly and has had so much done to it that it has been very reliable, it gets fantastic comments when at classic car shows or parked up due to being pretty rare now a days. i have put alot of time effort and money into this car due to being a VW nut, most weekends are spent pottering about painting week bits and servicing things that most people forget about. i am only selling due to cutting down on the amount of cars we have at the house as 3 for myself is taking up too much space. will be very sad to see it go as it has been great but needs must i suppose. I am looking for £ 3800 which i think is a good price for a car of this condition and with all the reciepts to back up work done and build a picture of the cars past, i am open to px only on a MK4 R32 golf. the private reg is not included in the sale, it will come on the original plate. now for the pictures
  24. VR6 | Bordeaux Pearl | Leeds Price: £2000 Description: VW Corrado VR6 in Bordeaux Pearl. With MOT until May 2014. 6 Months Tax. Car has covered 176k~ but has had a VEGE reconditioned engine in 2008 (costing about 2k) at 126k~, new engine has covered 50k~ run in as instructed by VEGE with regular services using full synthetic oil only. Engine pulls really well and doesnt use any oil, its never let me down or had issues with it. The following was also replaced - Clutch HT leads All Engine mounts Water housing water tube (crack pipe i believe) Thermostat Thermostat Housing Water pump Alternator belt All above inc engine and fitting costing £3115 - receipt is with paper work. Car is mechanically sound and has never failed MOT for anything large - only such things as solid brake pipe, ball joints or bushes. Which have naturally being fixed to get through MOT. Everything electric works - electric windows, heated mirrors, spoiler, sunroof, heated washer jets. Car is fitted with KW V1s which are superb, 16 inch ATS 6 spoke alloys in black, smoked rear lights and side repeaters, BMC CDA induction kit, Supersprint exhaust with oval tail pipe (nice deep burble not loud), Miltek sports cat, uprated headlight loom, TT wiper arms and blades, rear aero rear wiper, headunit (SD card, MP3, CD, Bluetooth, USB port), 6x9 vibe speakers and stealth shelf. Car is fitted with an Autowatch full closure CAT1 alarm, with hidden button and 2 fobs. The body work on the car is reasonable, for its age (20 years old this year) and has been used as a daily. It does have the odd spot of rust - drivers front wing, boot lid under spoiler/above reg plate lights, scuff on sunroof, stone chip split on just behind passaenger wing. Nothing major. Also for some reason the bonnet has suffered from laquer peel and is covered in blotches of laquer peel. Interior is in fair condition, odd wear mark and the usual damage to the drivers bolster. Intermittent instrument clocks fault - fault with clocks themselves. Despite this, the car drives brilliantly, always puts a smile on my face. But it just doesnt get used as much as it used to since getting a second car for work. Anybody that is interested in this will know its worth. 07415067462 for more info.
  25. Car is now sold VR6 | Midnight blue | Sandbach, Cheshire Price: £750 Description: Evening all I now this may sound cliché but its true. I am having to sell my midnight blue VR6 as I am going through a separation with my wife. I purchased the car last year, Reading through its had 5 previous owners, a stack of history and old MOT's, my plan was to restore her completely to standard. I removed the heated black leather interior 2 months ago to replace the carpet and have the drivers seat re-trimmed. I was looking to freshen up the soundproofing, I got it back from the trimmers at the weekend and put the drivers seat in to take her out for a run on Monday, it seems she has developed a misfire, as above with my financial circumstance being under close scrutiny I cannot justify exploratory or even remedial work on the car. Looking through the paperwork the chain does not seem to have been done, the car has covered 164,000 miles. The original speedline wheels have been re-furbed and fitted with brand new falken tyres. Everything works, heater, sunroof and spoiler. There is little bits of rust here and there but nothing that cannot be re-solved easily, the car has MOT till early next year but I have sent the tax off today and a form to declare the car as sorn. No pictures at the moment but will try and sort over the weekend. The car is fitted with an airfilter and performance exhaust although unsure of make and model. In an ideal world the car would sell quickly, interested parties are welcome to view but please do not insult me with a really low offer. Just to re-cap the interior bar the the drivers seat is not fitted but will be sold with the car. The door handles have been fixed by dave off this forum. Car is located at my unit in Sandbach, Cheshire, feel free to call me 07887551515 to discuss Thanks Oliver
