1. For sale my my pride and joy, which unfortunately I have got to sell it due to a baby on its way. I've owned this car for 9 years and have all certificates, receipts of all the parts and work I have done on it. This includes the most important supercharger service which was only done 15,000 miles ago. I had taken the car off the road two years ago and therefore it has no tax and MOT. I had planned to strip it down and turn it into a show car hence I am selling it with new parts that I haven't currently fitted these include: New VW door & boot seals Stainless steel exhaust manifold Everything electrical on the car works and so does the spoiler and the engine still starts first time every month when I start it up and roll it out of my garage. FK adjustable coilovers Scorpion DTM dual exhaust Debadged grille and eyebrow Factory fitted leather interior Angel eyes headlights Lupo windscreen wipers Crystal clear fogs and indicators Crystal clear and red rear lights Stage 5 ported and polished G60 supercharger Chipped ECU and 45mm pulley 185,000miles £1,200 ono For more details please don't hesitate to contact me Thanks Craig (Essex)
2. Hi, I'm reluctantly selling my Corrado due to a slight change in circumstances and also because it's a little too nice for what I want to do with it! The rough spec is as follows: - Full windows out respray and comprehensive rebuild in 2013 (see the build thread in my signature) - Full engine rebuild in 2009 - Black leather Recaro electric/heated interior (monkeh not included) - BBS RC 16x7.5 wheels - 312mm front brakes - 256mm vented rear brakes - Teves20 ABS upgrade with braided hoses throughout - 30mm H&R springs on standard shocks - Powdercoated rear beam, rebushed throughout including R32 wishbone bushes - Passat B4 moonroof and US spec high level brake light - Uprated headlamp loom, all usual Corrado niggles sorted 130k, 12 months MOT, taxed until end of September 2014. Very reluctant sale of this dry weather car in order to fund a house move. Please PM for more information or if you have any questions at all. £4750 or near offer please. Location - Belper, Derbyshire. Pictures: Thanks Tom
3. BBS CH 006 17x8.5J Alloys and Tyres For Sale: 5x100 ET35 8.5J My set of BBS CH's. I have been umming and ahhing for a few weeks as to whether or not I put these up for sale, but I have decided to follow a different look with my car and unfortunately, these wheels have to go. They have 205/40/17 AutoGrip tyres on the front with approx 4/5mm left and the rears are 225/35/17 Falkens with a little bit more life in them than the fronts. I bought them from Bill (BillCor) last summer when my car was still a project and were only fitted recently once I had the car back on the road. I have only done a total of 350 miles or so with them so the wheels are still in the same condition as when Bill sold them to me. The only thing I did was apply a few layers of of RimWax to help keep them looking good! Those sharp eyed amongst you will realise that the photos of the wheels are the same ones that Bill Posted when I bought them from him, but seeing as the mileage I have done is so low that the wheels are in the same state as what I bought them! I'm in no huge rush to sell these so no crazy offers please! I am located in Central Lincolnshire LN4 and I am reluctant to post them, but I can post at buyers cost. Collection is definitely preferred. 4. Corrado Storm VR6 - Pearl Green, Great condition, low miles, cherished car Original 2.9 vr6 storm (190 bhp) RARE! Original BBS solitude alloys 2 x Firestone front tyres (in good condition) 2 x Continental rear tyres (in good condition) Classic Green pearl effect Great condition (original) Full cream heated leather 101K miles 8 previous owners (with me since Feb 2014) Full Service History (Service book fully stamped and up to date) MOT: July 2014 Tax: June 2014 Service next due: July 2014 CAT 1 Alarm/Immobiliser HPI certificate Full history It has a combination of VW Main Dealer and very reliable local garage - very thick file! Last serviced July 2013 (including oil filter, air filter, fuel filter) Replaced since i've owned the vehical New windscreen 1 week ago (18th june 2014) Replaced in preparation for the MOT as had a stone chip. General Fully working spoiler. Working sunroof (slides and tilts) although can sometimes be tempremental. Working electric mirrors. Working heated leather seats. Corrado mats - good condition. JVC fold away CD stereo head unit. Negatives The electric sunroof is temperamental and works on and off.. this is a common problem with corrados. The BBS Solitude alloys have some curbing and could maybe do with re-furbing in the future. There is a small scuff on the front passenger side quarter pannel although this will polish out. There are a few stone chips to be touched up. The Air guide grill and 1 tow eye cover has a small amount of damage and can easily be fixed. The passenger leather seat has a small minimal amount of wear. All of these negatives where present when I acquired the vehical but this did not make any difference to me at the time as this was going to be a long term exiting project. I would be willing to knock off money for the cost of an MOT as it only has 1 month left but I am expecting it to sail through with no problems as the MOT's in recent years have passed with no advisories. I would also be prepared to discus the SERVICE and TAX. Summary This is a stunning car in great condition inside and out and has been my pride and joy for the 4 months that i've owned it. It's been well looked after and regularly serviced in the past. I've have kept the car clean and tidy. It's in great condition throughout for a 20 year old car and has had a health check with Heritage VW in Bristol as soon as I bought it... they were very complimentary about the car and its condition. It has also had the tracking checked recently and I have the print out from Kwik Fit. There is no rust on the body and the paintwork is in very good condition - what minor marks there are are too small to come across in photos! Its only ever been hand washed in my ownership but could do with a good polish and wax! The BBS Solitude alloys are in good condition with some curbing. Its been 100% reliable in the 4 months I've owned it and has never lost a drop of oil or water. Since mid February I've done around 1600 miles. It drives superbly and sounds great. There really are not many VR6 Storms left in this condition. If I could afford to keep it I would however I have recently been made redundant and obviously can not afford to have such a luxury at this present time. This is a fast car and handles very well indeed... It looks great and is a real thrill and privilege to drive. It's a real head turner and i've received many compliments. Call/text Darren on 07411308402 for more information or to arrange a viewing. I am based in south Bristol. I will only except cash payment in full on purchase and collection of the car. No time wasters please! 8. VR6 Re-Manufactured cylinder head. This is a genuine VR6 head which has been jet steamed, chemical bathed then vapour blasted. Visually inspected then pressure and tolerance tested. Skimmed / machined head faces. New valves with machined valve seats, new stems, stem seals, springs and collets. Camshaft bores are checked and re-machined if required. All threaded holes have been checked and if required; repaired. Lifter bores have been checked and where needed, machined to tolerance. Then it was re-cleaned to remove any foreign material from the process and then finally sprayed a nice OE silver/grey. Comes with brand new stud's. This will be as close to brand new as you'll get. It is will come with a timing cover suitable for a dizzy VR6 but you can always swap over to your current coilpack timing cover if you should require it. it makes no difference to the head itself. Apologies for the rubbish iPhone photo's, I can get some nicer ones if you require. Also, please note that the head is covered in a protective oil which may look dirty/marked in some pictures. Located in Sheffield for collection. Delivery won't be a problem as I have a nice protected box for it. Please contact me with your address so I can get a postage quote. £300 ovno. I'll also swap for some Corrado / VR6 related goodies.. Long story short these retail at £445 + vat, plus delivery. They had a special offer at £245 +vat, plus delivery with two heads remaining. The salesman was unsure in the head difference so instead of buying one, only to realise I bought the incorrect head; then find out the other had sold - I just bought both. As it turns out one was early, one was late with a port on the front for a secondary air injection (that's the head I'm keeping). I'm not making a penny on this sale. If it doesn't sell this week I'll be putting it on eBay with the interest of making a little money on it. I thought I'd offer it on here for cost first.
9. Hi All I have for sale a full stainless Jetex exhaust system from front section back, with a oval 120mm pipe to fit early corrado's with a 50M chassis number. It is in very good condition and is 2.5" bore, also have some new mounting rubbers(4 rubber mounts) and 2 new VW hangers to go with it. Buyer to collect or arrange courier service from the Newport south wales area. Want £180 for the lot. Over £400 New. Exhaust is a Jetex system but is marked up Fabrikat Ray on the boxes. No markings on tail pipe. Thanks Steve
10. Car hardly been moved due to work but starts and runs fine. Needs drivers door changing which i have one for a replacemet and the front wing and have that too. Respray and it be a great car! Front left wing was replaced due to heavy rust. It was sprayed as a temp job till the main respray which never happened. Both rear corners due to rust again yet again till the finish spray. Also the front cross member. front support and rad support sandblasted and powered coated. Stacks of old mots cert, receipts and service stuff here. The car does need body work and a respray but all the replacement panels and door are with the car and will be a straight swap with some hard work and time The exhaust is one thing i didnt get round to but you want to change that for a decat and you gain some serious bhp, i did replace the rubber things which hold it up as the old ones were stretched. Battery is due to the time it spent in my garage with out getting started, the immo does sap the power. The engine and gearbox are fine and works a treat. Also changed the coolant electronic auxiliary pump on the right side of the engine & new radiator + water hoses. Got new brakes at the front brand new, and I will include rear set with the pads to for the new buyer. All tyers are in vgc, sport adjustable suspencion, car is lowered. Interior in very good condition. I have confirmed with the VW that this is a genuine storm WVWZZZ50ZSK003278 snd will include the confirmation letter. When new owned by doctor up until 110k miles Last VW inspection 126722miles after that done by E&S SWIFT 129,332 and 133,531 Car has got no no MOT or TAX but I can put MOT and AX on it before colection for additional cost. Collection from Lowestoft or I can arrange delivery.
11. VR6 ignition lead holder engine plastics. £20 plus £5 postage - Firm located in Sheffield
12. Hi everyone, Regrettably I have come to the final decision to sell on my much loved Corrado. I've been debating the decision for some time but unfortunately a lot of current life changes means it's probably for the best. Anyways, enough about me more about the car: - 1994 L reg VR6 in Dragon Green - 77,800 miles - MOT'd until 22/06/2015 - Tax'd until November 2014 - Black leather Recaro interior (good/very good condition) - Full service history up until 48,000 miles (When I bought the car) The 1st service under my ownership was at G-Werks, and a 2nd at DG. Since these I have carried out the services myself every year at a friends workshop using genuine filters and Quantum Synta (Silver). I have just had it serviced with Synta Silver and genuine filter, (21st March) and the book has been stamped accordingly. I have also cleaned and oiled the K&N air filter. I am the 4th owner, although the 1st and 2nd are the same person (car was originally the 1st owners company car, and then he bought it off the company) Below is a list of modifications and work the car has gone through in my possession nothing extreme or that can't be changed back: KW V1's (fitted 2009) 288mm brake upgrade from a late mk3 VR6 Mk4 rear calipers Goodridge hoses One of the few DG headlight looms that were made K&N air filter but original air box comes with it DDI clocks, with blue lights and inverted red LCD screens (modern VW/Audi feel) Interior switches changed to red LED's Hard brake lines have all been replaced (April 2012) New drop links, wishbones/R32 bushes, ball joints, handbrake cables (2010) Smoked/Red rear clusters from ARZ tuning Smoked side repeaters Front fogs/indicators have been lamin-x'd in dark smoke Debadged grill (original included) Momo Jet 320mm steering wheel Foxguard alarm Heko wind deflectors New battery in 2013 Currently on RH Cups, re-furbed last year and hardly seen any mileage since (There may be a couple of things I've missed) All the electrics are working as they should, bar the heaters. The directional control is broken, currently set to the windscreen - they work on numbers 1-4 fine though. In general, the paintwork is pretty good. There are however, a couple of tiny dings along the crease. There is a couple of light scratches, nothing a good polish wouldn't sort out I imagine. The rear bumper has some lacquer peel Rust wise, the n/s wing has a small amount of rust at the front near the headlight. The N/S/R arch has a couple of small rust bubbles just starting to surface Underside is very solid, sills are absolutely fine. The car has been kept in a garage when not being used the majority of it's recent life (3-4years) as I've been driving a company van to work. However, with one of the most recent changes in my life I had to move temporarily without a garage. From this, I've noticed there is a leak somewhere, possibly the doors as the carpets were slightly damp with all the bad weather in the South West a couple of months ago. Definitely not the heater matrix, as this has only happened since being outside in the weather. The car is now garaged and tucked away again. Trying to be brutally honest here with the negatives, I wouldn't want someone to come a long distance for something inaccurately described!! Really not an easy decision to make, but I'm hoping someone will take good care of him and love it as I have. Bottom line, it's a lovely low mileage example that with a few little jobs would be perfect. Happy to answer any questions or arrange viewings. Based at BA14, Wilts. I'm asking for £4,500
13. Location: High Wycombe Price: £1875 (open to offers) Mileage: 151k Colour: Aqua Blue History: Loads of service history going back to its original purchase! MOT: Nov 2014 Tax: SORN (Car has been SORN from beginning of March due to tax and my insurance running out. Price has been reduced to reflect this.) Contact: 07796951946 or PM here I've owned this car for a year now and had loads of fun with it. Bought as a second car it has been driven occasionally, mainly at the weekends doing just over 3k in the last year. Selling this along with my daily to get enough for a deposit on something newer. I've not had the time to do as much work on it as I hoped but did manage to get few things done, which I will list below. Its a seriously fun car to drive, the wife hates it that I'm selling it and she doesn't even like cars!! Starts every time, sounds awesome and pulls well. Here is a list of work done on it by previous owners (one from this forum actually): Gwerks Chipped and pulley (68mm) Stage 4 flowed supercharger, was rebuilt 9k miles ago (that includes the 3k I've done) Goodyear timing belt and VW tensioner 144k, also replaced the crank bolt. 4 x Bosch double platinum plugs 18/10/11 Jetex stainless exhaust and de-cat AP suspension coilovers (with adjustment spanner) Sunroof tilts and slides, windows, mirrors are all working Full Leather Still has the original warning triangle and first aid kit. 4-slat grille, I also have the original inc G60 badge (see photos) On top of this I have: Replaced the Crank Bolt at 150k Replaced the front brake pads and disks, front suspension arms, anti-rollbar links and one of the wheel hubs Got new wiper arms going in tomorrow as the passenger one is a bit bent Current problems: Recently the spoiler won't go down but I've not had a chance to look at it yet. The motor seems to work as it goes up so I hope its just something blocking it from going down. For more detail have a look at my build thread http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=79611 And here is a pic (loads more available):
14. Due to a change in direction (turbo build so I have big fat leads to fit) I'm selling my Genuine VW HT leads. These are approximately 12 months old and are in fantastic condition as such. 100% working. I enquired about these a few weeks ago at Sheffield TPS and Rotherham VW. These are now obsolete from VW, in a pack and individually. They were £185 when last sold, ouch! I want £75 Ono. Located in Sheffield.
15. My spare VR6 cylinder head I was going to get skimmed, but I've gone for a re-manufactured head instead which was mega bucks :bonk: It's from a 1997 Golf OBD2, so it is the newer design with the improved oil channels for the cam chains. And for those that don't know it's the identical head casting as the 2.9, the only difference is the cams which you can swap yours over easy enough. Removed from a fully working car, didn't over heat or smoke, no ticking or tappet sound either. All the stud are good too. I was simply going to give it a skim and change the stem seals for good measure. £50 plus postage which will be £10 at a guess. Located in Sheffield.
16. It is with a heavy heart I have to list this as I have had countless hours of fun, along with the frustration of owning these cars. Sadly a combination of time constraints and relocation simply make ownership increasingly difficult. I have owned the car since 2004 and have only racked up 40k of its mileage during my ownership, the last few years it’s only done around 1000 miles. The car has been meticulously looked after and any work its needed has been done regardless of expense, along with many things that didn’t that were done as a matter of course. All work outlined below has been carried out while owning it, all parts have either been genuine or better (performance aftermarket) 2 Previous Owners MOT Till December 2014 Tax Till 30/09/14 Full service history 153k on the clock Toad Ai606 CAT1 alarm All electrics working, windows, sunroof, spoiler etc Modifications Schimmel Performance 263 Cams BMC Induction Kit Mocal Oil Cooler with uprated oil hoses Vibratechnic Competition Front Engine Mount Magnex Cat Back Exhaust Passat 288 Front Disks and Callipers Golf Mk4 rear callipers with Goodridge hoses Rare 16" x 7.5" five spoke Speedline wheels Weitec Hicon GT Coilovers Lupo Aero Wipers Passat Moonroof (original sunroof available with sale) Trimsport Rear Structbrace Fixed height steering column (adjustable available with sale) Uprated Headlight Loom DG Autotech fan bracket with 12” and 7” fans Interior Blaupunkt DAB Radio Chrome Door Pulls DDI Chrome Dial Rings Infinity Basslink Subwoofer VW Oil Pressure and Volt Gauge Pod Work Fully rebuilt head by Stealth Racing Camchains replaced Gearbox rebuilt with clutch replacement at Stealth Racing Coilpack replaced VW Red HT leads Heater Matrix replaced Radiator replaced Subframe replaced Wishbones replaced R32/TT Rear Wishbone Bushes Front Top Mounts ARB droplinks Lower ball joints Front disks & pads Rear disks & pads Rear beam bushes All four ABS sensors Rear ABS rings All wheel bearings Roof aerial & base / booster Genuine Alternator Bosch Silver Battery Sunroof Motor There simply is too much to list but it’s all documented in the A4 ring binder packed full of receipts and invoices going all the way back to the original sale of the vehicle including its brief excursion to Germany. The slightly bad points on the car is that the under bonnet foam is starting to pass its best and become rather brittle with some parts coming away. Other than that the steering wheel is really the only thing looking a little warn I had planned to have a spare re-trimmed but never got around to it. Would really like the old girl to go to a good home to someone who will continue to look after and enjoy it. Looking for £2595. If your interested send a PM or give me a call on 07824 638050.
17. Sorry folks, looks like it is sold - Deposit has been left, being picked up tomorrow by 1st person to view - I knew it was a bargain! :D If anything changes for whatever reason I will update Not necessarily the usual fodder for on here, but it is cheap due to needing a couple of jobs doing (something I know most on here aren't put off by) and has plenty of potential Audi TT Roadster, year 2000 with the 225bhp 1.8 Turbo petrol engine and 6 speed manual gearbox. MOT'd and Taxed till Feb 2014, just under 140,000 miles (this may change slightly as I am using it every now and again to save it just being sat doing nothing) In rare Nimbus Grey Pearl colour, it is a great value and fun sports car. Normally a stupid time of year to try and sell a convertible, however being a Quattro, this is good all year round practical fun. I think this is one of the cheapest (if not the cheapest) 225 roadster (and certainly in this colour) that is for sale T&T’d, ready to drive home in, or that hasn’t been crashed! It would certainly break for more, but I don’t currently have the time, inclination or space, being halfway through breaking up an S6 that spun a conrod bearing on me! Really good spec makes it great value for the money, just some of the features include: - 6 Speed Manual Gearbox - Climate Control - Xenon Headlights - Heated leather/alcantra seats - Powered Roof - Bose sound system - Heated Electric Mirrors - CD Player with Aux/Ipod input - Larger brakes as per Audi S3 (only came on the 225bhp TT) - Quattro/ABS/ESP - Plus loads of other bits I am sure I have missed! Being the 225bhp version, as well as the features above it has a few nice bits that the lower powered versions don't, such as twin tailpipes, red-edged TT badges etc. It is surprisingly economical given the power, with 35 mpg possible on a run without driving too much like a granny, and still reasonable if you push on a bit. I guess the 6 speed box helps, as it is on a par with my old A3 that was only 2wd and 5 speed, but had a touch more power Quattro is great for the winter - I wasn't expecting too much having driven 'proper' 4wds I the past, but I was genuinely very impressed with it, never getting stuck in last years snows in rural Wiltshire! It also makes the power usable and safe - My partner used to hate driving my A3 that had similar power in anything other than the dry, yet she was perfectly happy to jump in this and go anywhere. Bought by myself and my partner nearly 2 years ago, it is only up for sale as we have split up and she is moving abroad. If I didn't need 4 seats for work I would definitely be keeping this, but clients cant sit in the boot unfortunately! A lot of the usual TT problems have been sorted, and every single piece of equipment works, with no electrical problems at all. Some of the more usual TT nasties that are fine or have already been sorted include: - Dashpod has been repaired so no immobiliser problems about to jump out on you (if you are buying a TT and haven't googled this issue yet, I recommend you do!) - Oil pickup pipe has been removed and flushed out during servicing, so no nasty 1.8T oil sludging to destroy your oil pressure. - Roof has no leaks and works perfectly. I gave it a full clean and renovate while in our care. - All drain holes and chassis holes have been cleaned out and sorted, so no nasty rust waiting to appear from the inside out It is not perfect, and there are a few bad bits, hence the price. It is 13 years old, and there is the odd age related mark on the body, the drivers seat is getting a little worn and there is a bit of kerbing on the alloys. It is due a cambelt during probably the next 12 months, or 10,000 miles(ish) dependant on how many miles you do. It could also do with the outer CV boot on the drivers side being replaced as it has seen better days. There is the odd squeak, rattle or bump in the cabin, but I think that is being a roadster as much as anything (don't read more into this than intended, it is not bad but it is a 13 year old soft top, I don't want anyone to turn up expecting brand new car style NVH levels!!) - None of this is exactly world breaking however, and all cheap enough to sort out either yourself, or at a good independent. All in all a good honest, ready to drive away sports car. I know it is a cliché, but I will genuinely be very sad to see it go, and would be keeping hold if I didn't already have something more appropriate for work duties. I have had this up for £2500 for a couple of weeks, however as February gets closer and closer, I need this gone - £2000 will take it, massive amount of car for the money - these must have been near enough £30K new 10 years ago! Please, don't think that the price means it is a heap - there are a few bits of work that want doing, but other than that it is great - no boost leaks, no turbo problems etc. I have the full version of VAGCOM, and can show you a full scan if you like while you are looking at the car to show you that there are no issues etc The car is in Cardiff for viewings (I may be able to get it to the west mids for viewings, however wont be going back there much over the next few weeks, so may be difficult to arrange) Any questions just shout, and any inspection welcome - I am sure there will be things I have forgotten! Needs to go as I have nowhere to keep this off the road now, so needs to go before the tax runs outs, plus Leanne is now in South America, so it isn’t going to be getting used. PM me on here, or you can get me on 07738 two six five 819 to have a look around it Dan
18. I've owned this car for almost 2 years now and since moving jobs I no longer use it so it's sadly time to go carless. Since the last MOT in Feb I've done 3000miles in it. Front tyres have done around 1500 miles so have loads of life left. I've just replaced the front discs, completed a oil & filter change and had a new MAF sensor fitted all with the last few weeks. I have lots of paperwork including Seat dealer service history up to 2008, a large stack of old MOTs and also both keys. In September last year the turbo bearing went causing turbo damage. A new bearing and turbine shaft was fitted for a successful turbo rebuild done by a professional. I have receipts to show this has been done. The car has done around 6000miles since the rebuild. 3 months I bought it the previous owner had a new engine fitted, due to an oil pump failure, that had done 55,000 miles so despite the high mileage the engine fitted has done around 65,000. At the time the cambelt, water pump, oil pump were all replaced, I have all the paperwork for this. The 6-speed gearbox still feels great. MOT - FULL MOT - FEB 2015 Tax - 31st May 2013 The bonnet has unfortunately faded on the front edge, a respray of the bonnet would fix this but it's never bothered me too much and other than a small dent in the nearside sill (see photos) the car is in great condition. It always brings a smile to my face when driving it and it will be a shame to see it go. The car is HPI clear so buy with confidence. Price - £1595 Thanks for looking.
