What about Ford's RS200???? Ok it was made by Reliant, they tride to pass it off as an escort, but boy was it fast!

Didn't it hold the record for the quickest car from 0-60?

 

 

right about the Reliant bit..................but nowhere near right about trying to pass it off as an escort :wink: .............unless you are meaning the still-born RS1700T which looked like a FWD mk3 but had RWD :?:

oh man that stratos is an awful looking car. medallion man would drive it!!!

Apparently it came with a free bottle of "blue stratos" .............. :lol: :lol:

Stratos was one wicked car. I had an r/c one when I was a kid and then grew up to buy a Tamiya Audi quattro. Looked teh biz, but that's the nearest I got to the quattro. One serious motor.

you not meaning a V4 engine mate?.................i think they had a V4 engine out just before Ford had one :wink:

Yep, Lancia were the first to use one head across 2 banks of cylinders...A VR4......but it was sh1t and unreliable. VW were the first to produce an 15 degree assymetric 6 cylinder inline V and it won "engine of the year" in 1993 8)
