Windscreen Washer Jets - where from other than stealer

Recommended Posts

I am after a replacement windscreen washer jet - it is heated and I wondered if GS&F or Europarts stock them and if anyone knows how much I should expect to pay?

I keep cleaning mine and no matter what I do, they block!!

Cheers :)

You need some blue LEDs in them to keep them clean

Seriously tho, I think GSF stock them, I wouldn't have thought they'd be more than a couple of £ each.

Yeah, but I'm just guessing at a price and I usually turn out to be seriously low on my estimate.

£15 each does seem to be taking the proverbial just a bit tho...

VAG charge £30 a piece for the washer jets iof iirc thats why I bought the non heated ones for £1.50 each and make up for the heated elements with more screenwash :)

I personally would look at other modern cars jets, for example the ones on pueg's now spray a large flat jet instead of a single stream of water.

they get water overthe screen far better imho

Blimey - I swore he said £14.50 each for the heated ones at the stealer and I thought that was a joke. £30 is just embarassingly expensive!

Hmmm maybe it was £30 retail for the pair then!!! It was a while ago since I enquired, but I know they were damn expensive for what they are!!!

Actually if your jets keep clogging up you might find an in-line filter helps - a couple of notes from Halfrauds.
