D'oh!

Bit of a pisser that mate.

Happened to me years ago.

Heart booked a holiday to Bali and I was incontinent for 3 months.

And that was only on a Grifter back tyre! :shaking:

Would've made a good avatar pic if you'd captured your face when that thing went bang!

Eh?

I think you can get tablets for that, anyway...

The other thing to remember when checking tyre pressures is heat (from rolling friction) expands the air inside the tyre, increasing the pressure....so always check the pressures when stone cold, ie in the morning before you drive it.

As an example, I discovered I get 32psi in the morning and 36 psi after 10 mins driving!

You actually found a garage that had a working airline?!!!.....

I ended up buying my own pump and gauge, because all of the local garages have broken airlines, that they don't bother to fix!

Same here... I bought an electric pump and my god are they cr@p! LOL! OK for inflating an air bed, but pumping up a tyre takes forever!

My bicycle pump inflates a car tyre quicker than those electric ones!

The garage down the road has one of them computer controlled jobbies that you type in the pressure and it beeps when it's done. It's also in fairly good condition too cos you have to pay 20p for it, so people go use the shagged old thing at Tesco for free instead.

Top tip: Remember it's 30psi not BAR ;)

Crikey!!! I can think of at least 4 / 5 garages round here with programmable auto air lines that are free to use... mind you we pay London prices for everything else

Yeah, but the point is because you have to pay to use it, nobody does... which means it's still in pretty good condition ;)
