kerrinmay 0 Posted March 4, 2005 Didn't know it had that functionality. Should that work on all C's with early or late intrumentation?
exturbo2003 0 Posted March 4, 2005 not all no mostly late models but you can get the relay and upgrade your set up if you havnt got it. there is a thread on it somewhere
Ford 0 Posted March 4, 2005 Didn't know that either... another useful bit of info from the forum.
dinkus 10 Posted March 4, 2005 I was under the impression that was how all dubs of that vintage worked until the moved on to the little rocker on top of the lever setup?
Ford 0 Posted March 4, 2005 My previous ownership was a 71' bug, so I am still amazed by these technological developments - I am still reaching for the knob on the dash when it rains... :)
dinkus 10 Posted March 4, 2005 My previous ownership was a 71' bug, so I am still amazed by these technological developments - I am still reaching for the knob on the dash when it rains... :) fair enough! I meant I thought all Corrados and certainly Mk3 Golfs have the same controllable intermittant wiper...
kerrinmay 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Tried it, and it works on mine - which is a bit of a cross-over model (i.e. new body bits/old trim). This functionality doesn't seem to be mentioned in the handbook though. All it says it that the intermittant is approx 6 secs.
dinkus 10 Posted March 7, 2005 Heh heh, I already knew from reading CF that was how the wiper worked, but I hadn't realised it's not explicitly mentioned in the manual
kerrinmay 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Maybe it's just 6 secs by default if you don't set it.
Riley 0 Posted March 7, 2005 i cant stop messing about with it now 8) setting it to perfection for those few seconds where it rains harder then a few seconds before. neil.:?

Banana Man 0 Posted March 7, 2005 What you want is a hella raintronic system, flick it to intermittant wipe and when the screen gets wet it wipes, when its dry it dont! another lazy mans gadget for me then :D
