I remember there was a guy from America who made clear front fogs & indicators for the c. I thought they were good quality but they looked a bit out of place on the C (because they were too clear in comparison to the C's headlights).

 

He put up pics & prices on here but, didn't get much positive feedback with them at the time. IIRC they would match those angel eyes headlights very well.

 

I tried a search for his post but no joy... anyone remember?

personally, i like them now, starting to think they look damn good. i really dont see how they could be 'chav', because i cant think of any cars that have angel eyes, standard, that a chav could afford.... (though they may have stolen a few) also i dont think they should be refered to as 'lexus lights'... because they're not! .

 

to me, they just help bring the modded C' into the 21st century. which cant always be a bad thing.

I sent an email to the manufacturers today. My plan is to get a set for my car to test them & see exactly how good/bad they are. Based on the results of that, the manufacturer may need to make some changes to them. These lights are a completely new product & I would prefer to properly "test" a set first. :D

 

I'm not sure if they're sealed beam units or will have replacement lenses available.

 

The first set will come with our next order & may not arrive for a month or two. I'll then have some definite details as to the quality, brightness, fitment, etc.

Those twin headlights, Hella projector ones and proper VAG part, were on the car when I bought it and are no longer on the car, they've been replaced by Hella Mk4 style ones that look a lot cleaner and far more classy, like a Volkswagen should be.

 

But if you want to fit the sort of light tube you get from those pikey shops that seem to pop up in every town centre around Christmas time to some cheap headlights, be my guest, you can play pretend Bim Bimmers with the Ripspeed Krew, innit.
