New Corrado styling product. Opinions please.

A business contact (not me this time) is concidering importing the following:

 

 

Apparently they are ABS plastic and not fiberglass.

 

They are just really after your opinions. If enough people like it then they will be sold for £69 or will arrange do a group buy for the CF. (At which point i'll close this thread and open a new one in the 'Parts for Sale'.

 

Me, well, i'd like to see one on a car first.

thats not the reiger one is it? IIRC they're a bit more flat that that. looks good in that pic but i'd like to see a side-on shot to see how it effects the profile of the car

i think its ok, but would want to see it on a car first. would want to know how it attaches on and the paint options etc.

Yep, just checked that thread. They are very similar although these (above) appear to sit inside the window rubbers rather than over them.

 

£30 vs £69. No brainer i guess.

 

Does anyone know what the Reiger spoiler is made of? ABS or glassfibre?

The one above looks quite OE actually but the Reiger one looks stuck on. They probably both are, but this one, less so...

 

Are there any details of how they are affixed to the tailgate out of interest?

TMTuning is a great site. My car is "Sponsored" by them. They are super friendly guys over there at TMT in Germany. I have gotten a bunch of stuff from them with no issues at all.

I don't like spoilers, but I think that looks quite understated. I'd give consideration to having one.

Ah, posted this pic a while back and mentioned these. looks like the same one, kinda reminds me of the mk 2 golfs window spoiler so looks OE. Does sit better than the other one

Sorry mate its not my car - just a pic i found to show what the spoiler looks like. But that car is gorgeous yes! At a guess i'd say its dropped 70mm ish ?? The rims are 17"
