No 99 where i live either, so Tescos can shove it if they're going to be selective.....

THe little red highlight that tells you that 'RON' stands for Research octane number, is that right cos when i was at college we were told it was 'Relative octane number'!

 

Anyway, i'm waiting for Shell's 100ron V-Power to get here, we used it a lot of the way to Austria and back, 'Tis gut yah'!

Normal petrol local to me costs 86.9 at tesco and thats a penny or two cheaper than other local garages, i cant imagine them selling the better stuff for cheaper, or were they the prices a month ago?

Went to the Tesco in Exeter this afternoon with the intention of filling up with 99 ron and it had gone!!! only 97 ron!!

 

Asked the assistant what had happened to the 99 ron and she said "what does ron mean?" :roll:

 

Maybe the trial has ended?

Massive building work going on next to my local tesco, fingers crossed it's a garage that comes complete with 99ron, but this is cornwall we are talking about, more likely to be a tesco pasties

never new they were selling it in exeter, i`d of filled up i only work accross the road from there,, :(
