chimo

A little Canadian flavor for you all.

Recommended Posts

It occured to me that I don't post here often, and that I might start. So those who don't know me...

I'm Andrew, from the East Coast of Canada, from the province of Prince Edward Island. My Corrado is a work in progress and more work is being done every week (now that it's paid off). Suggestions are always welcome. On the list right now are new taillights and Samco hoses, also little by little I'm swapping the old style interior to that of the new.

nice motor mate - is it Dark Burgundy Pearl?

Nope it's Brilliant Black Metallic.

The first two pics Dinkus helped me detail.

They look even cooler when it's rolling. You just get two silver rings floating over the road 8)

Heh heh, the front bumper is a DDI one that's based on a BMW M5.

And there's not a lot of 'rados out in the maritimes, when I was over staying with chimo we went to a pretty big 'dub meet in Muncton and there were two other C's there.

Finding parts for them is even more of a nightmare than it is over here tho, they don't even have a huge stockpile of junked Jettas, Passats and Golfs to scavenge.

I'm sure if you looked, you could find a nice one though. You know you want to :D

I would estimate there to be about 10 Corrados in the maritimes. I am the only known Corrado in my province. There was quite a bit of buying and selling of Corrados here in the maritimes around March, but they seem to have dried up... I'm keeping an eye out for a G60 in case I can't find the proper one over the pond. Even that's not easy... unless you're prepared to spend about $8,000.
