Black wheels on a red C??

Recommended Posts

Bit of a poll and question.

I have an old set of tsw 16" multi spokes sitting in my yard, my plan was to paint em gloss black.

Just fancy a cheap change really so titivating old wheels is ideal.

So what do you guys think? Black wheels on a red C?

Also what paint have you guys used for painting wheels with a loss finish?

Yeah Josh over in California has black rims on his C. Plus there are a couple on Vortex. I think Josh's ID is red=faster

Well if you want a good job get them powdercoated but if you wanna do it yourself prob best to use hammerite spray paint, m8 used it and it came up well! also if you scratch, chip or kerb them you just touch them up! 8)

I think black goes well cos it goes with black numberplate holder, mouldings, handles, etc, etc

I think that a satin or matt black would look better than gloss... but otherwise I think it will really work 8)
