GIXXERUK 0 Posted October 25, 2005 congrats mate, not many around with that sort of mileage
dalevr6 0 Posted October 25, 2005 yeah cheers Gixxeruk, the mileage was a big factor in why i bought the car,i dont do many miles in my car so should stay nice and low.
Stan 24v 0 Posted October 25, 2005 Just drive the other one during the week, and the new one at weekends or in nice weather. That way you get the best of both worlds!! Wheres the pics of the twosome anyway?? ;)
Pete 0 Posted October 25, 2005 Nice one! If it had black leather I'd have been in there as well.
mr.ots 10 Posted October 26, 2005 You lucky chap, two c's in the garage, i'm so jealous. Hope you enjoy them both mate, well done.
dalevr6 0 Posted October 26, 2005 thanks for all the comments, ill get some pics as soon as poss of the pair of them. my first one is slightly modified ie miltek exhaust,17" alloys, ram air filter just a few little mods.that one is now on 110k 1 previous owner and full history and after 4 years its basically how i want it. the way im thinking at the min is to put my new one with 46k back to origional spec.handy thing is i still have my origional speedline alloys, cant see the point in having them both slightly modded and feel the low mileage example should be origional.what do you lot think ? cheers Dale
GIXXERUK 0 Posted October 26, 2005 imo that would be a perfect combination, modded and standard(except i would do the h/l loom mod) ;-)
Storm77 0 Posted October 26, 2005 I agree Dale - definately put the new one back to its original state seeing as the milage is so low. Good little investment me thinks. Isn't it lowered slightly though?...from the pics it looked like the suspension wasn't standard. Looking forward to the pics.
dalevr6 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Your right storm77 it is lowered so poss something else that might need changing as does the exhaust.think thats all apart from the sterio and the wheels its fairly standard allready, other wise i wouldnt have bought it. Jim 2 Posted October 26, 2005 I agree.. I think a nice, totally standard spec 46k late plated VR6 is going to be as nice as it gets and will hold its value nicely. Congratulations on the purchase.. i'd like to be honest and say i'm very, very jelous ;)
Walesy 0 Posted October 26, 2005 yeah..i'd make it completely standard....apart from the suspension. I'd leave it lowered slightly if it was mine, but first things first would be to get rid of the exhaust!..
billinjah 0 Posted October 26, 2005 have it standars save as walsey says the suspension and id add a charger so you dont get boreded!!

mr.ots 10 Posted November 6, 2005 That looks sweet. I definately agree that you should return this one to standard spec and keep the mileage down. You really do have the best of both worlds owning two vr6's.
conleycrew3 0 Posted November 6, 2005 lucky lucky lucky bas*ard!!!!! mean that with good intentions mate well done if only we all could say we had 2 rad's seen as your in the buying mood, fancy another? Its the first time ive done an attatchment thats all.
