v smart. Shame there are no prices on that link yet. Having said that the TomToms are pretty cheap - just need to get a nice adapter plate made up to fit.

You want a really really cheap decent way of doing it, buy an N-gage for less than £80 brand new. GPS receiver on ebay brand new less than £30 and either of 3 main brands of software on a mem card for less than £20! It works perfectly and has voice.

 

Does'nt look cool, which those puppies certainly do and very oem+

 

But you also get a phone thats next to indestructable and plays cool games. Plus it seems to wedge perfectly between the dash and screen and doesnt block all your vision or fall off. (forced induction may relocate it though)

Well, it just so happens I have one of those out of an R32. I was going to fit it in my corrado, then in my mk4, but now that's going the sat nav unit is up for grabs, with wiring loom and GPS aerail.

 

£400.
