16V suspesnion

Recommended Posts

Hi there, I'm a new Corrado owner....well actually I don't actually have the car in my posession yet....but anyway

I have a modified Mk2 Golf GTI 8v that's been in a an accident. This car has a set of Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs fitted. What I was wondering is, could I use this suspension set up on a Corrado 16V?

Welcome to the forum...

I'd think it would fit phyically but I'd check with the manufacturer / supplier to compare the kits between the cars and check what the differences are if any...

Hi and welcome.

It is unlikely they will be the right ones at the front as its a mk 2 - it tends to be the mk 3 golf stuff that is interchangable due to the Corrado being heavier than a mk 2.

yip, although that may depend on what year of raddo you've got?, I put Mk3 lowering springs on my 95 raddo and they were great.

Cheers for the welcome :) Hope to be sticking around for a while

The Corrado is a 1991 16V and my Golf is a 1990. Was hoping I could save some cash by using the Golf's suspension, until I can afford some coilovers anyway
