Well I got my £56 Ebay Scirocco delivered to me last night!!.....and gave it a quick once over and a clean this morning!

Everything seems spot on!!...There's obviously a few little stone chips and scrapes and the interior could do with a good clean. Engine starts straight up, even in this cold weather, and it runs perfectly!

I'll get underneath it tomorrow morning and give it a better going over though!!

I was going to take a few shots of the C while I was at this...but it's absolutely filthy!!

Yeah......It's not too bad from what I've seen so far!

The drivers door has a bit of rough looking paint though (I've cunningly taken the photos so as not to show it  )

£56 for 1x pair of Scirocco GT wipers.

(Comes with free Scirocco)

Bargain ;)

Looks good!

It's a winter run-around - don't worry about the rust!

Just as long as the cabin is dry, it'll do fine.

Would make a good CF donation when you're done with it too hehe.

I've just given the S a complete going over with one of the lads!!

It's not bad at all underneath! Its got P6000's on all corners that cant be more than a few months old, a complete new'ish exhaust, brakes are good, no nasty rust supprises at all, and everything seems to be where it should be! No oil leaks/water leaks either!

Ok, so we found a few things wrong with it.....the inertia reel on the passenger seatbelt is fupped, and the drivers seat doesn't seem to like locking into position (bit of WD40 should solve the problem)!

It has new brakepads on the drivers side, but the passenger side pads look like they could do with replacing in a few months! The suspension is also a bit soft, but there are no leaks from any of the shock absorbers themselves!

All in all pretty good!...Just have to find myself a seatbelt reel!! :D :D :D :D

Should be good if the car makes it!!

Will be well over 2000 miles in just over a week, when you take into account getting to the start of the rally (Calais) and back from the finish point (Madrid)!

Looking forward to it though, should be a good laugh :D :D
