A20 LEE 0 Posted January 1, 2006 The red westside car has had a face lift. Got to say, got alot of presence, but i do really like red corrado's. I spy a cream trim too, like it lots.
Phil K 0 Posted January 1, 2006 It's nice but... I think the wheel centers should be black and the rear lights look horrid painted body colour :?
NickVR6 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Nice mate, only thing im not sure on are the all red rears, but thats being rather picky, weet looking motor. I am thinking of doing my RH centres body colour, but need someone to photoshop em before i take the plunge. Just thought it might be e bit diff? Bally 0 Posted January 1, 2006 met the guy again at no rice.. he used to run different rims & some of you guys took the piss out of him for having ferrai stickers on his car when he posted on here a year or so ago! one low 16v! he's only running front cream leather, no rear bench as its to low for passengers! bcstudent 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Crikey. I am really NOT liking that at all. It's a heck of a clean car but it's just not to my taste. * EDIT * It looks a lot better with the non-colour-coded wheels.
GIXXERUK 0 Posted January 1, 2006 toooooo red for me , needs to be broken up more with some black imo
Not_Aircooled_or_Taxfree 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Cars don't look right when they are missing wing mirrors. They look wonkey or something like that!
OSV 0 Posted January 1, 2006 A good red Rado looks spot on. I think red rears are cool on red cars but these are too heavy handed and spoilt the effect. The colour coded rims are good too but need polished hexagonal caps in the centre to add contrast and break up the red. Cool car!
Jim 2 Posted January 1, 2006 I think I preferred it on the Schmidt alloys to be honest! Does anyone know if the owner is from Coventry? Location looks familiar..
Tom B 0 Posted January 1, 2006 I've been having thoughts about doing my car similar to this, by similar I mean: * Same wheels, but anthracite centre * Tinted red rear lights, as opposed to painted * Number plate recesses left OE. * Leave the NS mirror on, although I like that look! I think the car's nice, but I'm concerned about the lifespan of colour coded rims. I think dark centres will be acceptable for longer, and make the wheels more valuable. Dubby 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Saw it at no rice in November i think? Me likey :)
veeDuB_Rado 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Jebus that is low, I like it, but I wouldn't have them wheels. *edit* on closer inspection, I absolutely LOVE that, really does hold a presence.
scarlett 0 Posted January 1, 2006 too red even for me and my red corrado obsession.... looked better on the Schmidts imo.... saw it at No Rice and it is mintier than mint tho... cant fault the workmanship at all!!!!! :) (but Ferrari badges.... )
Tom B 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Yeah, not keen on Ferrari badges, unless they're in the middle of some Ferrari wheels :)
Trig 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Not my cup of tea but I can see where he's going with it, fair play :)
PhatVR6 0 Posted January 1, 2006 like:- ride height removed beesting and rear wiper dislike:- everything else. don't like red corrado's anyway wheels are rank, too small and too red lack of mirrors looks mongy painted lights are chavvy number plate looks stupid. but, overall, because it sits well, it does acutally look quite good! g60greeny 0 Posted January 1, 2006 -don't like red corrado's anyway what is it why some people don't like red rados?
PhatVR6 0 Posted January 1, 2006 I dunno, I just think they look a bit plasticy in red. Not keen on yellow ones either, or white. I think they only suit the darker metallics.
Furkz 0 Posted January 1, 2006 cars just look better in black....

bristolbaron 10 Posted January 2, 2006 i remember that thread about the badges! im 'sitting on the fence' think it looked better on the old rims, but respect for bucking the trend.
