Corrado Performance Figures

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

I am after a vr6, either golf or corrado, would much prefer corrado tho.

all i would like to know is the performance figures for the 2.0 16v as i've looked elsewhere and it seems its v.slow. 0-60 time was worse than a 1.4 corsa ????

surely thats wrong?

Would i be better getting a vr6?

I'll be totally honest,i've always wanted one.. i've had a 2.0 8v , a 2.0 16v, a 1.8 16v , and 2 g60's ....but never a VR6.

I've always wanted one, but couldn't afford one. It's only recently that you could get hold of a decent one for much less than £4k .

I find g60's a bit to brutal, VR6's give refined power.

..and anyway, he asked should he get a VR6 or 16v...no mention of G60!

Top Speed 126mph (203kph)

Acceleration 0-60mph in 10.2 seconds

i reckon i'd get bored of that quite quickly

have had 90bhp for 6yrs now and think i deserve some more by now...........lol

well a 190 bhp vr6 will definately be a vast improvement. 0-60 in about 6.7! and 145ish top speed. iirc being a g60 owner!!

There seem to be lots of different figures quoted for the 2.0 16v. I've had 2 and the 0-60mph is certainly not 10+ secs! Reckon it's prob a smidge over 8 seconds. Not especially quick, but not slow either.
