selbekk 0 Posted February 13, 2006 once upon a time there was a wack a$$ country called norway. this little crap hole of a country had never heard of anything called sound deadening, and dynamat extreme was just a myth. this caused permanent ear damage for this little bloke called selbekk, and now he's pi$$ed off for not getting to any of the good stuff. where can I order it online, what does it cost, and how much do I roughly need to cover both doors, boot, rear quarters and floor (i.e. everything except perhaps the roof and bulkhead)? thanks in advance people. if anybody could check this out for me, i'll write the sequel where selbekk turns to a really sexy lady which lezzes on some other hot norwegian chick. honest. Neil VR6 0 Posted February 13, 2006 You'll need loads. Extreme "custom kits" are the way to go. I put two rolls in each door, maybe one for each 3/4 panel, probably about 3 or 4 for the boot and maybe about 5 for the floor. It's £25 a roll but to have it sent will cost as it's heavy stuff. ebay sellers do loads of it.

Banana Man 0 Posted February 13, 2006 Stone0311, I wouldn't buy that stuff mate that looks like cheap sh1te! Theres no replacement for dynamat extreme!! I bought 3 custom bulk kits ( think they were Trunk kits actually) which did my doors, boot floor, rear quarters, and boot lid. I put at least 2 sheets in each panel which made a hell of a difference!

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 13, 2006 Yeah got a load of "skinz" in my car. Thinking of putting the car on a diet though and removing some of it, I went a bit mad with the stuff and I think the door hinges are wearing out from all the weight :-)

Thinking of putting the car on a diet though and removing some of it, I went a bit mad with the stuff and I think the door hinges are wearing out from all the weight :-) How mad Kev in your doors? I went mental got a bulk kit of dynamat extreme which is 9 rolls if i remember right split between both doors, think its triple layered, tap outside proper solid. Was going to put phoenix gold ti elite in with the 9" mid bass drivers in custom door builds but plans changed so now got proper heavy doors for no reason lol. still when i close my doors sounds like a proer expensive door clunk if you know what i mean.
