OZ Turbos

Recommended Posts

I know a couple of peeps have owned these (wales ;)), so thought I'd ask...

I've been offered a set of OZ Turbos at a good price, and the guy says they're genuine but I want to make absolutely sure - how can I tell?

Also, what's the going rate for a set in semi-shabby condition, genuine or non? And if they're fully refurbed?

Cheers guys!

They'll have OZ stamped underneath the centre caps, where BBS stamp their wheels

I sold mine for £475 a few months back , 2 had decent F1 tyres on and the others had unpronouncable tyres without much tread left. They weren't in bad nic but could have done with a refurb to make them mint.

I lOVE them, so buy them!..be different :)

gradeAfailure, i've got a mate on the look out for a set, so if your after a quick buck he may be interested. Main thing to look for is the genuine centre caps, apparently most are aftermarket?

These have VW logos in the middle of the centre caps as opposed to the OZ logo, so i'm guessing they're aftermarket, but could just be stick on i suppose...!

Tbh, they're in good need of a refurb, most of the bolts are corroded, but was going to spend a couple of months doing it myself (for the experience, and so that my 301s aren't the first set i do!)

When I say the originals have OZ stamped underneath the centre caps,I mean on the wheel , not on the underside of the caps..

Nope, 4x100 only Nicky-boy, and the replicas were made under licence by JE Design of France, as I have just discovered...

you need a specialist tool to remove the bolts and you may struggle to find them or need professional help
