aide 0 Posted March 29, 2006 reaper - did you reconnect the broken lambda that was identified for you in a separate post, as that is a likely cause.
reaper1_3 0 Posted March 30, 2006 aide yep reconnected although not perfect it is all connected and it still does the same ....
Sanj 0 Posted March 30, 2006 I hope its not a fuel issue with mine too, however its been running ok not perfect but ok, I've now got the problem that the car wont start! If its not one thing its the other. I'm on the verge of giving up soon and selling it!
mistrall 0 Posted March 31, 2006 DONT SELL IT  i got to that stage with mine last year ---->>> http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... ld+glowing - - so glad i didnt sell lol
reaper1_3 0 Posted April 1, 2006 must admit it does get tempting to sell when your having these problems but what else would you buy thats as cool as a rado??? I should have the answer early next week .....
reaper1_3 0 Posted April 3, 2006 Well my poor rado was collected today! first time its moved for 3 weeks!!! The problems causing the running faults are: the throttle switch is dead! the lambda probe is dead! and lambda sensor wiring although the plug was repaired on a temp basis to see if it sorted the problems ...decided to get that done as well as the guy believes the contacts are still not good! :x and all of this has caused all my problems  well the good news is it will be sorted and back to me for the weekend for me to fit my new audioscape door pods!!!
aide 0 Posted April 3, 2006 doh throttle switch.... that makes sense - good to get it sorted tho and it *shouldn't* cost you a packet!

Sanj 0 Posted April 4, 2006 reaper1_3 throttle switch the prob! How much does it cost and can I do it myself. I will probably go to VAG to get one. I have replaced my Lambda probe last year when I did the CAT so I dont think thats a prob. Nice one though.
Sanj 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Sorry forgot to ask does anyone have a pic of the throttle switch? Thanks
Phil K 0 Posted April 4, 2006 reaper1_3, probably a bit late to say this but I have a throttle position switch for sale if you need one? Otherwise they're £70 new from VW
Sanj 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Phil K, how much do you want for it?
Phil K 0 Posted April 4, 2006 I'd be looking for £30 mate... if yours is running OK then I doubt it's the switch at fault! Can't hurt to swap it though! Will have to give reaper first refusal though as I've posted it in his thread and he deffo needs one 8)
Sanj 0 Posted April 4, 2006 Cool thats fine, could I have second refusal if he does not want it?
