Corrado 1 - Chav Nil

Recommended Posts

Was crusing down the A6, between Rothley and the A46 roundabout, Wednesday evening, and some chaved up Corse crept up next to me, then tried to boot past. It got a few feet in front, then the engine blew  I nearly wet myself in hysterics! . Looked like it was on fire, the maount of smoke coming out the back. Sadly though, I slowed and it pulled in front, and then deposited a sump full of oil on my windscreen. Can somone pass the windowlene?

I saw the same thing only 2 weeks ago no the M6, a Cavilear went bang in the outside lane - loads of blue smoke. Guess it was a piston. 1 mile later and he did it again; I must have dropped back a good 1/3 mile behind, as did everyone else.

rofl, would have loved to have been there.

we need to install video cameras like the cozzers do, so we can capture these priceless moments

wait, he blew a piston and didn't stop? you'd think the clouds of smoke billowing from the back of the car and the 'funny noise' the engine would be making would suggest he should pull over! theres some real muppets about...

you're telling me Chris ; I mean there was so much smoke that it covered our 3 lanes of the M6 and a good 2 lanes of the opposite direction too. So why he proceeded to carry on & blow another piston - wft

:cuckoo:

He was probably telling his mates... "yeh, that'l be the Afterburner"

Maybe he thought he'd try his best to get as close to home as possible whilst it's still going, it's happened to me and i got home on 3cylinders in my Escort MKII many many years ago.

Tw@ts - I had some wee guy in a chavved up black corsa acting like he was Steve McQueen earlier today - he was very quickly "disciplined"!

I got my arse handed to me by a ratty white Nova on the way to Peterborough once. It looked like a right piece of crap, so I thought I'd school him, but lordy it did shift! That wiped the smile off my face good and proper.

Had the same with what I thought was a fairly standard looking Cavalier.. looked like any old grey old shape one (but looked absolutely showroom fresh) and he sat up my backside a bit so we came to a roundabout which opened up into a dual carriage way - we both floored it, and he left me like I was stood still - and this was in my old 200BHP G60!!

Did a bit of research afterwards and found that they made a turbo 4WD version - I can only assume it was that with a few tweaks!

Theres few ones like that out there! my mate has an old rusty, white Mreg fiesta on crappy steels( he takes pride in 'not cleaning' it) which has a lovely clean fiesta RS turbo engine hiding under the bonnet - he loves it?? :?

We knock these British made cars, because of the chavs, but why do they buy them???

This is because they are fast for what they are!!!

I had a M3 cab, raced a guy in a calibre 4x4 turbo, and he kept up with me all of the way untill i got over 140mph..... sorry i mean 70mph (Legal limit)

The only problem i can see with them is the build quality and handling...

I mean even the Astra GTE's were rapid and Escort rs turbo's...

Come to think of it VW's arn't that quick really, but they last forever so some compromises are exceptable.

It's all about style and class dear boy. A Corsa has neither.

Also - the dying Cav - the car's worth less than the fuel in it anyway, so you might as well kill it completely before you have to abandon it
