Jim 2 Posted June 12, 2006 Don't blame you at all mate. On the Ferrari Driving Day I did a few months back, the 'warm up' car was an Impreza STI WRX and i'll make no secret of the fact that I preferred the Impreza by a mile.. it was breathtakingly quick and gripped like I never thought possible. Only reservation i'd ever have about owning one is that garage rates are meant to be astronomical on them.. but enjoy it mate. It looks awesome on those Superleggeras... i'm sliiightly jelous ;)

As far as servicing and stuff theres a specialist up here and hes quite reasonable when it comes to servicing, the cars also got a full service interval, gotta be rare for an import eh? Cheers for the comments guys

mtc R32 0 Posted June 12, 2006 I'm glad you like it.... :D I purchased a Subaru P1 (With prodrive upgrade) couple of years ago... That car was to date one of the best cars I ever owned.... Very scary to begin with, but once you learn how to drive it, believe me take your mates out for a spin and they'll be impressed with your driving... Once you get it onto a B-road the car somehow automatically knows where it is and prepares you for a treat... Sadly Mine got stolen  in broad daylight in the middle of town... CCTV picked up 5 masked men placing it on a loader and away they went... 2 trackers on the car both disabled within 10mins of theft!!!! Swore i'd never buy another.... Real headache leaving it anywhere :x DON'T change the wheels..... Stick to the prodrive ones, pref 18's as the gears are ratio'd for those specific wheels... I raced new M3's and M5's and blitzed them.... Have fun mate and look afetr it. :)

Rossco 0 Posted June 12, 2006 very nice, concidered goin down the scooby route myself a few times, couldn't afford that model mind although i may be able to afford 2k for ya g60 :-P Hahah nice try matey, its provisionally sold to cheesy, ripped my hand off. 2 doors are quite uncommon, import only and only on the type r model, over here we got some 22B's and the P1 but aye on the whole bit rarer and more desireable Personally i just think they look better
g60greeny 0 Posted June 12, 2006 well if cheesy buys one of the other cars he's interested in,just drop me a pm we'll sort summat out :D (goes off to talk cheesy into buyin a vr6)
ZippyVR6 0 Posted June 12, 2006 IIRC the 3 doors were made in small numbers just to sell enough to enter the model into rallying. Looks like fun.
Stan 24v 0 Posted June 12, 2006 Not normally a fan of Scoobys, but that looks like a minter mate 8) Whats the insurance and general running costs like? ie petrol!
Blown 0 Posted June 12, 2006 Not a big fan of Scooby's or Evo's or anything that has big spoilers for that matter-I like 'em to be subtle. :black: Having said that,I like it in a two-door for some reason...... Had a guy in the shop the other day enquiring to see if we could get new discs for his WRX-after a few phone calls,it turns out that they are dealer only parts-at £200 PER SIDE!! And thats without labour on top.
