lol :)

The only expensive bit you need is the bracket from what I can make out? I reckon you could get one made for about 60 or 80 quid tbh.

The charger's are expensive - the only place I've seen doing them on their own are knocking them out for 1600 quid plus shipping and maybe a bit more tax! So 3300 for the whole lot with aqua and a 6-branch & redtops is pretty darn good I reckon.

So do ya reckon leave the shrek on or what? What about selling it and getting one of those schimmel short runners for less money?

i think i will have to travel down, and have a go in the black beast when its got the rotrex on Will 8)

if it was me, i would sell the schrick, and get the schimmel manifold mate. much more responsive at take off, plus been told, more torque than a schrick when using a charger.

and that sounds like a very very good deal £3300.

So it would be more responsive with the short-runner intake mate? Is that cos of less volume of air to 'move around' or what?

I don't understand the SR intakes at all.

Did you end up getting a C2 one and a chargecooler mate?

i have the chargecooler as above sitting in the garage mate, along with ARP bolts, but the C2 manifold does not fit in the rado, so gotta do some saving for the schimmel. :(

as for cams i'm sure its the 248's for FI, or even standards will do the job fine..

Sorry bud :)

Just remember with short runner you need slim line fan, and the cooler you need to put your battery in boot.

Battery not a problem. But you have to change the fans? How come? And how much?

Short runner won't fit, you only need one 11''spal fan. There about £60, get one on ebay. Thats what im going to be using

It's because the throttle is close to the head - less distance for the air to travel. For forced induction, the smaller the plenum size, the better, again because it's a shorter distance into the cylinders which reduces lag.

What boost are SD going to run your kit at? Are they dropping the compression? No mention of inter/chargecooling though?

Do they still need the car for 5 days?
