vdubCorrado 0 Posted October 7, 2006 uhh do what? i've uh... never seen a stock 8v corrado... but i have seen an ABA 2.0 8v swapped into a corrado and it was as explained felt like a rabbit diesel (really wasn't that slow but from a stage 4 G60 to not having a daily driver and having to make do for gas milage it was bad...) CazzaVR 0 Posted October 7, 2006 Always thought they were supposed to be painfully slooooow, but when I actually got to drive one, it wasn't too bad. 0-60 is around 10 seconds-not great, but not too bad either. Correct, as they never were sold in the US :-) They're rare (compared to the more standard G60s, VR6s, and 16Vs), I give it that, and as such may hold their own in the Corrado carmarket (if that's the right word). Walesy 0 Posted October 8, 2006 I like 8v's , i've had 2 and tbh I much prefer the engine to the 16v, i'd go as far as saying that given the choice between the 8v and the 16v i'd go for the 8v. It's a very economic engine, parts are cheap and easy to find, and they are very easy to fix. It doesn't feel like you're driving a performance car like when you're in a G60 or VR6, but if you're not interested in performance then they're a good all round car IMO Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
