Supercharged 2 Posted October 16, 2006 This car also ran the revised 240ps ecu as far as my sources tell me It was only running on greens! I can't believe you posted this up Jim, Yans's gonna chop your balls off!
Jim 2 Posted October 16, 2006 Meh. Its not like we can keep talking about it and winding people up and then not post info up. Besides - its hardly like its a big secret. Darren already knew about it!

Jim 2 Posted October 16, 2006 We'd tried to subtly mute it in there if you read it! Though must admit I didn't notice Ritchie giving the game away :|
Yandards 0 Posted October 16, 2006 Meh, think I will fry them... Proper factory ringer this - charger number 1260 with an 'M' after if that means anything to anyone.
gsbellew 0 Posted October 16, 2006 As far as we knew 16VG60 Corrado's didn't really exist beyond those bright yellow body kitted VWM ones. Did I not contradict that way back on page 2? :-P  Nope - not like that. This is why this other one was especially rare.. :) Its the one that was done without a bodykit, standard looking but a 16v G60, one had front wheel drive one was 4wd, cant remember which was which, but I think the body kitted one was 4wd, could be the other way round. Knew I had read something about a standard looking one years ago, cant remember for the life of me where I read it, hell I might have imagined it
dinkus 10 Posted October 16, 2006 Yeah, I knew Richie gave it away, but nobody noticed
G60Jet 1 Posted October 16, 2006 I read a tale that the ECU was missing out of it!! But i cant think where i read it. Anyone else read something like that?
Jim 2 Posted October 17, 2006 Not sure where they got that ECU from. The previous year to this, Breford bought to the campsite (and sold to someone) an ECU labelled up as 16VG60 - we assumed that there was one, smashed up 16VG60 in the basement and that he'd taken it off that. But this one appears to be completely in tact so lends credence to the fact that there could be more of them...
Supercharged 2 Posted October 17, 2006 Jim - there was a smashed up one too but i think they destroyed it and sold the engine

Jim 2 Posted November 26, 2008 Think that was just the lighting. I don't remeber any body decals / graphics or anything else on the exterior to give away what power lurked beneath..
