Get the exhaust sorted! The pipe the couples onto the front of the centre box has started to blow and i'm a bit concerned that if it falls onto the road while I'm moving it'll rip off the back box with it!

Just don't know what to go for!

If I were to go for a new zorst, it'd be Supersprint or Magnex.. but I guess thats one for the 'Definitive exhaust discussion..' thread..

I've fitted a Magnex recently and wouldn't have anything else. Have you read the latest PVW? Magnex exhausts are all laser cut in the same factory as all Aston Martins along with a few others, can't go wrong.

Having said this I haven't seen or heard a supersprint so can't actually compare.

nice, (IMO) could do with a deep front splitter though, ive got one with splits on the sides that i can do for the price of postage if you want.

Thought I'd add this to my gallery as well for prosperity....

I've been cracking on removing bits so it'll all be ready to bolt on the replacement parts!

I'm going to leave the slam panel in place until i get another one!

While it's off the road I thought I'd take the opportunity to service parts, change gaskets and clean up the manifold......

Whilst you're at it Tim, worth changing that front coolant flange for a new one, along with the gaskets etc... i'm sure you're already going to do it but just thought i'd mention it :)

Yeah, cheers Jim i will be doing that......I'm gonna try and get anything like that sorted now while its off the road and easier access.

As well as cleaning up the manifold and throttle body inside and out...

With the very kind help of Supercharged we've begun doing various things to the engine while we've got good access....

Water pump and all its particulars have now been changed,

Inlets and rocker cover have been sandblasted

Rad switch has been changed

Buckets of stainless nuts and bolts have replaced standard ones thanks the Supercharged the stainless whore.

Fence almost destroyed by Supercharged

And lastly (i think) dipstick holder destroyed by Supercharged

Hoped to get a good way to replacing the cam belt but were foiled by a stuck pulley..........

Anyway here are a couple of snaps of our initial progress

nah, that money will be going towards the bodywork.....for the time being anyway

Tis a shame as a KR cam can be found for around £25 plus of course a new chain.....
