catch_twotwo 0 Posted November 2, 2006 Oops sorry about the link..... thanks for the save Toad. I'm not sure on them... from a historical point of view they're rare but for that much cash (€29,000) I can think of nicer cars to buy  Any the wood interior is just W R O N G EDIT: Is that a G60 badge on the front ??? and are those not Borbet A's not B's ??? Toad 0 Posted November 2, 2006 Oops sorry about the link..... thanks for the save Toad. No worries.
BigTartanJudge 0 Posted November 2, 2006 Nope they are defo Borbet B, 7.5x16" ET30 wheels (I had rwo sets once upon a time) and correct that is a G60 Sportkombi model. Sorry, but I really like it ! That interior is ace bar the wood-trim, sure it could be replaced with carbon-fibre or alloy or just leather inserts and those are lovely rare electric leather recaro's with the leccy controls on the inside edge of the seats. Can really see the Volvo 480 similarities and almost cross between Mk2 Polo rear end and rado front.
catch_twotwo 0 Posted November 2, 2006 Yeah the seats are very plush..... could do with those in mine.
Supercharged 2 Posted November 2, 2006 2 Corrados G60 “change to the sport combination” For the demonstration of its efficiency by a company the self-project “sport combination larva was accomplished in Germany”. Along the project phases of the process chain and optimized the team developed two prototypes and the associated manufacturing tools on basis of the Volkswagen-Corrado. The successful driving fitness tests, the TÜV acceptance and positive resonance with the presentation on the IAA was the wages. Documentations to the wind tunnel test, cut briefcases, parts lists, carcass plans and technical designs are still present. Blocked parts of the VOLKSWAGEN type are 32 B, VOLKSWAGEN type Polo and also AUDI 80, as well as a special H&R chassis. Certified these vehicles were logged out 1990 and 1996 with approximately 8000 and the 2. with approximately 13500 driven kilometers. The 2 Corrados with the designation, developed from it, „MAGNUM “are to be sold now. I can dispatch further details (photo etc.) with interest gladly. During interest to buy and from this resulting date agreement for an inspection you take up please contact by email or by telephone (during the day under 05401-490-309) with me. Location of the Corrados is sews Osnabrück. Price conception for each vehicle is with 29.000, - € VHB.

_leon_ 0 Posted November 2, 2006 Nope they are defo Borbet B, 7.5x16" ET30 wheels (I had rwo sets once upon a time) Indeed - I should know - they are currently on my car. Are you sure about ET30? Positive my 7.5"x16" are ET20.
Henny 0 Posted November 2, 2006 7.5x 16 should be et 30 on a 4 stud 'rado... (don't ask about how many sets of Borbets I've had... )
Jim 2 Posted November 2, 2006 I love it! I think its really funky. Though I admit that turning a sports coupe into a silly little hatch back is a bit of a travesty, I just love the rarity of some models like this!

Though I admit that turning a sports coupe into a silly little hatch back is a bit of a travesty, I just love the rarity of some models like this! Well it's only €29,000 ;) I'd love to see it, and drive it... but doubt I'd live with it to be honest. If I wanted a G60 with a boot I'd buy a Passat ;) cheaper... BigTartanJudge 0 Posted November 2, 2006 Your set, _leon_ are not my old ones. I sold my 9x16" Borbet B ET15's to a guy on eBay who put them on an e30 325i sport and my 7.5x16" ET30 Borbet B's (not quite identical to yours, thought you bought them off andycouk ?) went to a guy on edition38 called russw who had then on his mk2 then he sold them. And as henny says, if they are 4-stud they will be ET30 I think. Cheers
_leon_ 0 Posted November 2, 2006 yeah thats right - they were on andy's car. i think the differences were that mine are coated rather than polished and the center caps are not the same. do you know where i could get the original center caps btw? cant find any - only the borbet a caps.... :( i only seen a brief picture of your car with them - tbh i love them. Tempest 0 Posted November 2, 2006 Like the Sciwago, a very interesting Mk1 Rocco estate, they don't do it for me, unfortunately. Having said that, using one of these puppies for work instead of the horrid 55 bhp Escort van will go down a treat, I say :-) Tempest
